Scott Edward Logan was born in Providence, Rhode Island and is the older of two boys. Having been raised between New England and the rough streets of Dallas' south side- he rapidly learned the value of escape through reading, and imagination.

Denise, his mother- exemplified and fostered an early love of reading within him. While his grandparents love and encouragement fueled his imagination with their stories of their travels, and 250 year family history, leading back to the 1700's. (A rarity in African-American families)

By eighteen, and escaping from a dangerous and stifling environment..Scott joined the US Army. This was both to grow stronger, serve his country, and to see the world that he'd only read about in National Geographic. After a relatively short overseas enlistment of two years, which saw the Fall of Communism and the Berlin Wall, and "Operation: Just Cause", Scott opted an early-out thanks in part- to overseas troop cutbacks and service-connected injuries.

Scott returned home to Texas where he met, fell in love, and married his beautiful wife, Kezshma Evette. After (34) thirty-four years and counting of marriage and two children together, they are still going strong. Scott started Acting in theater in 2000, and switched to Commercial, and Film Acting in 2001. He simultaneously utilized his Military educational benefits to attend classes, and work his way up the corporate ladder as an HR/IT Professional before conflicts of time, and constant lack of stability forced his hand. He recently began Acting /Writing full-time as of 2016 after qualifying to join the Screen Actor's Guild and the American Federation of Radio and Television Actors. (SAGAFTRA)

Scott Edward Logan, is represented regionally by (the wonderful) Linda McAlister Talent. His years of successful work in the field inspired Scott to begin writing his own material after decades of seeing and reading so many scripts. Scott wrote his first screenplays: "Bloodlines:The final Hit" (feature), Two short films: "9o Seconds Til Infinity", and "Paper Hearts". The feature length script for "Fallen Leaves", and most recently he was commissioned by NO-TIMEOUTS Productions, and CABOS WORLDWIDE ENTERTAINMENT to ghost-write an original treatment for the upcoming feature film: "NO TIMEOUTS". The first, in a projected series of films. He has YET to produce ANY of them, and instead prefers to build a portfolio of his work.

Scott still dabbles in Corporate America on occasion, due to his obsession with learning, evidenced by his 22 professional certificates of proficiency. As well as his active role of as a Graduate Member of Groove-Phi-Groove, Social Fellowship Incorporated. "G-PHI-G" an International social and collegiate foundation, founded in 1962 at Morgan State University...an historic HBCU. (Historic Black College University)

He is also the Founder/Owner of "Zero-Point, Business Solutions and Media Productions".

    • Trivia
Scott always introduces himself and refers to himself(myself) when meeting someone for the first time...using his full birth name. When slating during auditions, social functions, etc. This stems from his sudden awareness that there are 9 other "Scott Logan"s in this industry in IMDB. Once his credits started to accumulate and overlap with his namesakes - he began to use his full name, both as a way of Positive Reinforcement and Branding.
