Matthias grew up in Berlin and moved to London, where in 2012 he graduated the National Film & Television School (NFTS) with an MA in Cinematography. He is now based in London and is working in Features, TV Drama, Commercials & Promos, but is also enjoying to team up with Artists and to dive into the realms of Ballet and Dance films as well as Stop Frame Animation.
His work has been screened and awarded at festivals around the world, including Cannes, European Film Awards, TIFF, Sundance, SXSW, LFF-London, Sarajevo, Locarno, Palm Springs, Rotterdam, Venice, Edinburgh and many more.
