Biography

Scott Warren Bailey was born in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA to Kenneth M. Bailey, Dean of Students at Penn State's Ogontz Campus, and Lillian Bailey, a homemaker. He discovered his love of acting when he was awarded the role of Sir Joseph Porter, KCB, in his fifth-grade production of "HMS Pinafore," and continued to be active on the amateur stage throughout his teen & early twenties with numerous lead and supporting roles in high school, college and community theater productions.

While attending the University of Wisconsin, Scott signed with agencies in Milwaukee and Chicago, although his professional credits included primarily radio and television commercials (local, regional & national) with no professional stage or screen roles. It wasn't until he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, that he landed his first movie role as a reporter in American Anthem (1986)... but despite 16 days on the set, Scott's big-screen wound up on the cutting room floor. Undaunted, Scott continued a successful career as commercial voice talent and model, and received the Male Commercial Actor award from the American Talent & Modeling Association in the same year.

Still a much sought-after commercial voice talent, Scott's passion remains in the film industry. He has appeared in numerous independent films such as "The Abduction of Rachel Moore" (2004), Mustang Ironheart: Preludes of Iron (2007), "Indecent Exposure" (2007), "The Malum Mine" (2008), "How To Burn A Suicide Note" (2009), The Alien In The Room (2011), Savageland (2011), Baby Blue Eyes (2011), Palimpsest (2012) and Decrypted (2012), as well as major roles in several other independent features in pre- or post-production.

In addition to pursuing his acting career, Scott is writing several screenplays and novels. He currently lives in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and is represented by Jennifer's Talent in Milwaukee.
