P.V. Griffin is an actress (also credited under Penelope Griffin), visual artist, and public speaker from Newark, NJ. Born in 1971, Griffin is of Taino (Puerto Rican/Caribbean), Lithuanian, and Irish decent.
As a Newark native she attended Arts High School (graduated (1989) and Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts. In an arts career spanning over 25 years, she has been a colorist for comics and trading cards for Dark Horse Comics, DC Milestone, and Nemesis (credited as Penny Zemaitis)
P.V. Griffin has performed on regional stage productions such as The Vagina Monologues and Alice in Wonderland as well as extra roles for various television and film work. She is also a guest speaker for both radio and panel discussions on education, empowerment, and social issues.
Griffin has her Associates Degree in Social Science from Warren County Community College and Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior/ Applied Psychology from Albright College. She still continues to perform for stage and film projects.
