Remember Mario Paint? The 1992 Super Nintendo game gave you the option to sketch and color images using a mouse, so Mike Matei spent a staggering four months using that technology to recreate the intro to the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. Why? The better question is, why not? Take a look at the impressively-created video (the characters' motion comes across very well), and then let Mike show you in painstaking detail how he made this possible.
I'd say I was surprised that it took the internet until 2016 to get around to doing this, but then again it seems like an incredibly excruciating process, so I guess I actually can believe it took that long.

James Rolfe created the Angry Video Game Nerd character and webseries after putting together a few short videos complaining about old Nintendo games, such as Ljn releases. Soon, as popularity grew, Angry Nintendo Nerd had to be changed to Angry Video Game Nerd so his character could delve into a larger oeuvre of terrible video games from the past. A lover of film and a director of shorts himself, Rolfe and his team often develop creative references to classic films throughout the videos, though still keeping the tone juvenile. "I think what people are forgetting is Harrison Ford is returning and will most likely be the lead with a big role in the film. That being said I would love to have seen the rumoured Gary Oldman cast in the film. He had great chemistry opposite Harrison Ford in Air Force One and is a very underrated actor - who most likely would not have taken too much spotlight from new cast members.
