It’s been just over a week since Katy Perry went to space, and she might still be getting adjusted to Earth’s gravity — or, at least, that’s what it looked like in viral videos of the pop star’s 2025 tour kickoff on Wednesday night, showing quite a bit of unimpressive, low-effort choreography.
The concert was the first of a three-night residency at Arena Cdmx in Mexico City, and marked the beginning of Perry’s “Lifetimes Tour,” supporting the release of her lukewarm 2024 comeback album, 143. In fan-uploaded footage of the concert, it’s shown that the show is somewhat conceptual, presenting a loose plot based in a video game about Perry — a “half-human, half-machine” — taking on an “all-powerful AI called the Mainframe.”

At first, “Havoc” sounds like just another one of those generic, one-word titles Hollywood slaps on action movies to convey a terse, efficient shoot-’em-up. Why give such projects a long-winded name like “A Clear and Present Danger” or “Every Which Way but Loose” when you can find something punchy like “Taken,” “Crank” or “Drive”? Look it up in the dictionary, however, and “havoc” doesn’t simply mean “devastation” (of which there is plenty in “The Raid” director Gareth Evans’ excessively violent Netflix outing), but also some mix of confusion, mayhem and all-around disorder (which spoils whatever fun a couple over-the-top set-pieces deliver).

Okay, let’s talk about the moment that had the internet collectively gasping. Justin Bieber cozying up with none other than rapper Sexyy Red at her birthday party. Yes, you read that right. The two were spotted sharing hugs, cheek kisses, and some seriously vibey energy, and of course, the internet lost its mind. Suddenly, everyone was asking: “Wait… who is Sexyy Red again?” And more importantly, “Should we be worried about Justin and Hailey?”
But before we dive deep into the tea, let’s rewind a bit. Sexyy Red has been buzzing on the charts and online for a while now and she’s not new to viral moments, but this one? It hit differently. Whether you know her from her unfiltered lyrics, her collabs with major artists, or her viral one-liners, she’s quickly becoming a name you can’t ignore.

I officially became one of the 1,200 music industry members comprising the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s voting body in 2022 — the year that my long-snubbed favorite childhood band just so happened to be on the ballot for the first time. I could not check that “Duran Duran” box fast enough. And a few months later, there I was at Los Angeles’s Microsoft Theatre, excitedly cheering them on as they opened the Rock Hall ceremony and were inducted alongside the likes of Dolly Parton, Judas Priest, and Eminem.
Since then, I have not always gotten my way when it comes to the Hall’s inductions. But as a voter, I still take the responsibility seriously… well, most of the time, at least.
This year’s batch of 14 contenders is solid — it’s difficult to make a compelling argument for why nominees like Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Maná, Phish, or the...

A Detailed Look At The Wednesday Season 2 Trailer Ft. Jenna Ortega ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Netflix just dropped the trailer for Wednesday Season 2, and it’s safe to say things at Nevermore are about to get weirder, darker, and even more Addams than before. After a debut season that turned gothcore into a lifestyle and resurrected Tim Burton’s spooky-chic flair, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is back with her deadpan charm, killer dance moves, and more mysteries to unravel.
The first season gave us psychic visions, monster attacks, and a perfectly awkward love triangle. Now, the trailer teases new villains, secret societies, and a fresh batch of chaos for Wednesday to smirk her way through.
Plus, did someone say new roommate? With the promise of more sarcasm, sinister secrets, and possibly even a prom redo (minus the blood?), fans are sharpening their black eyeliner and brushing off their cello strings in anticipation.

Wednesday Addams’ creepiest mystery yet might be lurking in her own twisted family tree. Netflix just dropped the trailer for Wednesday Season 2, and things are getting darker, deadlier, and a lot more personal. The teaser hints at secrets that go beyond Nevermore Academy and into the cryptic corners of her bloodline.
With the second season set to drop in two parts, one can’t help but wonder: Is the real monster not something she has to fight but someone she’s related to? For all its worth, stuff is about to get freakishly juicy.

Spoiler Alert: Details follow for Season 13, Episode 11 of “The Masked Singer,” “Soundtrack of My Life Night,” which aired April 23 on Fox.
Well, I’ll be. Edwin McCain, the singer/songwriter behind the 1990s hit song “I’ll Be,” was the latest celebrity to be revealed on Season 13 of Fox’s “The Masked Singer.” On the show’s Wednesday episode, McCain was unmasked as Nessy after performing “Million Reasons,” by Lady Gaga.
“Honestly, I’ve done so many different things in my career, like we’ve landed on an aircraft carrier off the coast of Korea and played for the sailors on board,” he told Variety of why he did the show. “We’ve been to Djibouti, Africa and Bahrain, and we’ve played every state in the US, except for Alaska. If life be an adventure, this certainly falls in that category. I was like, of course, I’ll do that.

Jenna Ortega’s haunting and brooding Wednesday Addams is a Tsa nightmare in the first teaser trailer for Wednesday Season Two. Heading through airport security, the titular character unloads an arsenal of weapons — from a taser and flail to mace and at least four different types of knives — but it’s the non-travel size sunscreen that gets her flagged. It isn’t even hers. Thing just wants to protect its scarred and discolored hand-only body. The popular Netflix series will return in two parts on Aug. 3 and Sept. 3 as Wednesday...

Hump day is looking pretty horrifying (but in a good way) thanks to the arrival of the brand new trailer for "Wednesday" season 2, which sees Jenna Ortega return as the dark-minded daughter of the Addams Family. Following the surprise and absolutely massive success of the first season on Netflix, it came as no surprise when "Wednesday" season 2 was ordered by the streaming service. Fans of the first season should be happy to see the creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky elements that we got so much of in season 1 are back for this new installment, all wrapped up in an all-new mystery with Ortega's dead-eyed alter-ego at the center (where she's joined by an impressive supporting ensemble). The thing that should have people most excited, however, is that season 2 looks to focus a little more on the Addams Family itself and not just its teen daughter.

“Wednesday” Season 2 has set a two-part premiere date for this fall.
“Wednesday” Season 2, Part 1 will premiere Aug. 6 on Netflix while Part 2 debuts less than a month later on Sept. 3, the streamer announced Wednesday. The two-part strategy marks a switch-up from last season, when “Wednesday” dropped all eight episodes of its first season on Nov. 23, 2022.

Season 2 of Netflix’s Wednesday is coming soon, in two parts. Part 1 of the hit series led by Jenna Ortega will drop on August 6, with Part 2 to follow on September 3. A teaser trailer with a first look at what’s ahead can be watched above.
Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Wednesday follows the titular Addams to Nevermore Academy, where she learns to master her emerging psychic abilities. “Wednesday” Season 1 established Jenna Ortega and Tim Burton as a fresh creative duo, but the overwhelming box office success of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” has proven that their success was far from a fluke. The film has only raised expectations for Season 2 of the “Addams Family”-inspired Netflix series, and a new teaser for the season has given fans their first look at the latest batch of episodes.
Netflix has now revealed that Season 2 of “Wednesday” will be broken into two parts. Part 1 returns on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 returns on September 3.
The first teaser opens with a sequence of Wednesday going through airport security and getting stopped and frisked by a Tsa agent. She unveils an embarrassing number of deadly weapons and torture devices on her person, but her real cardinal sin is Thing bringing along a small tube of sunscreen. The Billboard 200 albums chart measures the top releases during the weekly tracking period every Friday through Thursday. While it used to be determined strictly by record sales, the ever-changing landscape of music consumption led Billboard to update its methodology for the 21st century.
In 2014, Billboard started considering multiple metrics of music success, including online streams and individual track sales, in addition to the traditional album sales that previously made up the entirety of the Billboard 200's chart determinations. An album sale currently counts as one album unit. Sales of 10 individual tracks also counts as one unit. But an artist needs 3,750 ad-supported streams or 1,250 paid subscription streams to equal one unit. Then in 2020 Billboard began counting music videos on platforms like YouTube.

Kendrick Lamar is a 10, at least according to an American Music Awards tally.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper leads this year’s Ama nominations with a total of 10: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Gnx), Song of the Year (“Not Like Us”), Collaboration of the Year (“Luther” with Sza), Favorite Music Video (“Not Like Us”), Favorite Male Hip-Hop Artist, Favorite Hip-Hop Album (Gnx), Favorite Hip-Hop Song. Should Lamar win in all eight categories, he would tie Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for the most awards in a single year.
Following Lamar, Post Malone received eight nominations; while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey received seven nominations each. The show will be hosted by and include a performance from Jennifer Lopez.

Pedro Pascal is expressing his support for the transgender community and made a big statement at the Thunderbolts premiere in London.
The Last of Us actor made an appearance at the Cineworld Leicester Square in support of the Marvel film, sporting the viral “Protect the Dolls” t-shirt.
Pascal had previously worn the shirt during his 50th birthday celebration on April 6.
The “Protect the Dolls” t-shirt was designed by Conner Ives, who showed it at his runway show during London Fashion Week earlier this year. “Dolls” is how the Lgbtqia+ community refers to trans women.
In an interview with The New York Times, Ives explained what inspired them to make the t-shirt.
“It was very reactive. I knew I wanted to say something, given what we’ve observed in the last few months with the U.S. government and the current political regime,” Ives said.

As of September last year, a remake of Guys and Dolls, one of Broadway’s best and most influential musical that was also adapted into a successful Hollywood musical back in 1955, is in the works. The original movie was nominated in four categories at the Oscars, but it did not win any award.
Now, Hollywood is looking to make a remake of the film, which shouldn’t be surprising, seeing how the reboot and remake era is still very much alive. At this moment we don’t know much about the movie, but we do have some rumors.
Recently, it has been reported that Zendaya was offered to play a “lead role” in the movie and now, another casting rumor has surfaced and it is quite interesting.

The past few years have seen an explosion of celebrity brands, producing everything from tequila to lipstick to luggage. But few of the top celeb-fronted companies are earning high scores for sustainability, if a review of the eco-ratings platform Good on You is to be believed.
Founded in Australia in 2015, Good on You judges fashion and beauty companies across the globe according to three main criteria: people (labor practices), planet (environmental initiatives) and animals (welfare). Performance in each of these areas contributes to an overall rating, ranging from “Great” (a 5/5 rating) to “We avoid” (1/5). More than 6,000 brands have been rated so far, with staffers generally endeavoring to update scores every 12 to 18 months to judge progress (or backsliding, as the case may be).

Bowen Yang doesn’t plan to be at Saturday Night Live forever.
The actor-comedian recently opened up about his future during an interview with People, noting that the recent 50th anniversary special — which saw several SNL alums return — got him thinking about what life after the sketch comedy show could look like.
“SNL, it’s just this moving, living, breathing thing,” he said. “Especially after the 50th, I’m seeing what life after the show is like and how beautiful it is, and how so many people, no matter how long they were at the show, are just with their families and loving their lives and not letting the years take away any of that experience for them.”

Onya Nurve did it.
It’s been a few days since Nurve, whose real name is Justin Woody, was crowned the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 17, and it hasn’t quite clicked for the queen who has been celebrating since Friday and is now up at the crack of dawn, speaking to the press.
But one thing is clear, she’s proud of her win. For Nurve, it’s been a season. She dominated with four Main Challenge Wins, she wowed with her Eddie Murphy impersonation during the Snatch Game challenge, and she triumphed over Jewels Sparkles in the finale lip sync to take home the crown.
Nurve spoke with Variety to discuss her win, performing that finale lip sync to Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra” and what she’d like to do next.
It’s been a few days since you won ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ how does it feel?...

Green Day is officially brat.
As the punk band headlined Weekend 2 of Coachella, they exchanged some playful barbs with Charli Xcx, who also performed at the 2025 music festival in Indio, California.
After the British artist partied during Weekend 1 in a t-shirt printed with a sash reading “Miss Should Be Headliner,” drummer Tré Cool posed in his own sash made from toilet paper, which read, “Actual Headliner.”
“Obsessed,” wrote Charli on X with the photo of Cool, also sharing a snapshot of the band’s frontman Billie Joe Armstrong sporting a Brat hat in support of Charli’s sixth studio album.
In addition to Green Day, headliners for Coachella 2025 include Lady Gaga and Post Malone, also featuring performances by Charli, Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, Benson Boone, Zedd, Shaboozey, Ty Dolla Sign, Misfits, Prodigy, FKA Twigs and Jimmy Eat World.

Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap made quite the impression with their Coachella debut, using their set to protest the Israel-Hamas War‘s devastating impact on Palestine.
The group has sparked backlash after their Weekend 2 performance on Friday at the Sonora stage, during which they projected “fuck Israel,” “free Palestine” and other messages of protest against US support of the Israel-Hamas war.
“Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people. It is being enabled by the US government who arm and fund Israel despite their war crimes,” the text read in photos shared on X by the group. “Fuck Israel. Free Palestine.”
After Coachella’s YouTube Live stream of their set was reportedly cut when they started an anti-Margaret Thatcher chant, the band wrote on X, “Not the only thing that was cut – our messaging on the US-backed genocide in Gaza somehow never appeared on screens either. Back next Friday Coachella and it’ll be sorted.

A new viral trend is sweeping social media this year: the “recession indicator.” But what is it, exactly? Well, it means a lot of things to a lot of people!
The meme amusingly links certain behaviors and pop culture references/resurgences to signs of an impending economic downturn.
From the return of certain trends, like flash mobs and ice bucket challenges, to nostalgic music moments, like Lady Gaga‘s recent return to pop with Mayhem, reminiscent of her 2008 debut, Kesha and Ed Sheeran coming back into popularity (which he himself has acknowledged!), users online have been making tongue-in-cheek observations about how certain cultural shifts might signal trouble for the economy.
