Brian Lapin is a founding member of the The Black Eyed Peas and a partner in the composing team Transcenders. With Transcenders he has built a distinguished career scoring hundreds of television episodes, including the Emmy Award-winning Black-ish (2014), Madam Secretary (2014) and the cultural phenomenon Gossip Girl (2007).
Brian's career began at age 17, working at A&M Records, followed by an apprenticeship under legendary producer and engineer Don Smith. He later spent three years as a songwriter for Warner/Chappell Music and is a ten-time recipient of ASCAP's Composer Award for Highly Rated Television Series.
