Jacob has a degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University. After graduation, Jacob became a poster child for the school, and his ad promoting the school could be found in Billboard Magazine and countless other media outlets.
When Jacob was 7 years old, his father took him to meet his first musical icon, Buddy Miles (Band of Gypsys), at a biker rally. Decades later, Jacob became one of the last people to record Buddy's music before his passing in 2008.
Jacob tracked vocals for the Pussycat Dolls' "Simlish" version of the song, "Don't Cha", for the video game "The Sims 2". He said that the hardest part was refraining from laughing at the ridiculousness of the entirely-gibberish Simlish language.
While touring with the Black Eyed Peas, Jacob contributed to an unreleased Michael Jackson song, entitled, "The Future", as he assisted producer and artist Will.i.am.
Starting his career as an audio engineer and music producer, Jacob contributed to several Grammy-winning works, including Fergie's debut album, "The Dutchess".
Artist and Producer Will.i.am once stole a van in Grand Forks, ND, to retrieve Jacob from a night club where he had been stranded.
Jacob was actress Joey Lauren Adams' (Chasing Amy, Dazed and Confused) first and only roommate.
