Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist concluded their whirlwind romance Thursday night the same way it began, live on national television.
The inaugural Golden Bachelor couple said “I do” in front of 150 guests (and all those watching at home) at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California. Deadline was invited, along with select other press, to attend the Golden Wedding in person.
While much of the production made it to the live show, there was also plenty that went on behind the scenes to pull off the event. Although the cameras started rolling at 5 p.m. Pt, guests began arriving around 4 p.m. to check in and get ready to walk the golden carpet to the pre-ceremony cocktail hour.
During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed appetizers, including a nacho bar and meatballs. They were also treated to themed cocktails, like the “Birthday Suit,” harkening back to Theresa’s arrival...

“The Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner officially tied the knot with his final rose pick, Theresa Nist, Thursday, and the live broadcast of the couple’s nuptials certainly threw “Bachelor” Nation some curveballs.
The biggest shocker was certainly Brayden Bower’s surprise proposal to “The Bachelor” alum Christina Mandrell, days ahead of the pair moving in together and just over a month after they revealed their relationship to the world.
Wedding bells are also ringing for former “Bachelorette” Charity Lawson and her fiancé Dotun Olubeko, as the pair shared they plans to get married in fall 2025.
Still, as the women from the inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelor” showed up to celebrate the couple — including officiant Susan Noles, golden carpet correspondent Kathy Swarts, guests Faith Martin, Joan Vassos and Sandra Mason, among others — the ladies kept the shenanigans going, leading to several entertaining moments.

“I’ve learned you are the woman I can’t live without,” said a teary-eyed Turner during his vows. “I promise that if you’re my partner in life, I will make you the happiest woman on Earth.”
“I love your heart and your soul. I love your smiles and your laughter,” vowed an emotional Nist. “I promise to be your calm in a storm, to comfort you when you’re sad, to laugh with you when you’re happy and to stick with you throughout it all. But most of all,...

ABC is really gonna milk this unspoiled finale for all it’s worth, huh? On Monday’s “The Bachelor: Women Tell All,” Chris Harrison teased Peter Weber‘s two-part finale next week as one so unpredictable that not a single soul knows how it concludes.
“It is a finale so unexpected, so unprecedented, there is not a single person who knows how Peter’s journey will end,” Harrison stated. “Not even Peter.”
Is this typical Bachelor Nation hyperbole or is there something to it? The fact that the finale has been unspoiled gives it some credence, and Peter, who picked his final two of Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett on Monday’s episode, confirms there is a basis of truth to it.

Molly Mesnick was among the 25 single women contesting for Jason Mesnick in The Bachelor Season 13 of 2009. Though she is the lucky one who ended up marrying Jason, that is not how the script went on the show. Jason had initially proposed to Melissa Rycroft and Molly was the runner up. However, on the final episode and in what is touted to be the most dramatic twist in the history of the Bachelor show, Jason changed his mind. It feels like someone from the “Bachelor” franchise is on “Dancing with the Stars” every season, but in reality (no pun intended), there’s only been eight love-seeking folks who’ve hoofed it on the hardwood in 28 seasons. And Hannah Brown is just the second one to actually win the whole thing.

Every season of The Bachelor or Bachelor-adjacent shows, host Chris Harrison promises, "The most dramatic season yet." But with Colton Underwood's stint as The Bachelor, everything changed. We were given a riveting, dramatic season that lived up to Harrison's teases, especially when the final episodes entirely pivoted from what we've come to expect from the show. In the end, there were two painful break-ups in one day and there was no proposal: just the uncertain promise of a relationship that may or may not result in marriage. It feels more and more like The Bachelor's formula may be breaking, and I'm here for it.

Chuck Lorre is at it again.
The busy TV producer behind hit CBS comedies used the vanity card at the end of the credit sequence to “The Big Bang Theory” episode “The Gyroscopic Collapse” on Thursday night to take a shot at the president… again. This also happened to be the day that the House Republicans passed a health care bill to replace the Affordable Care Act.
The vanity card, seen below, features the ratings from March 6, 2006 and shows how Lorre’s show “Two and a Half Men” beat out Donald Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” in the coveted 18-49 demographic. Lorre even added a bit of commentary to the ratings with the message: “Defeat terrorism and crazy dictators? He couldn’t even defeat ‘Two and a Half Men.'”

On March 25, 2002, ABC introduced to the world a show that took one man’s search for Ms. Right and, with the help of some alleged post-production trickery and the casting of some beyond wackadoo hopefuls, turned it into a reality-tv phenomenon which has since spawned multiple STDs spin-offs.
We’re of course talking about The Bachelor, which on this day marks its 15th anniversary.
VideosRachel Lindsay Confirmed as First Black Bachelorette
Since inaugural suitor Alex Michel, the ABC franchise has helped 19 other eligible bachelors on their quest for “true love,” most recently bringing together Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi in the Season 21 finale.

Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi
Though he put a ring on it after a romantic trip to Finland, it seemed the fairy tale was over for four-time Bachelor cast member Viall and his choice, Grimaldi, on Monday night. During their own After the Final Rose special, Grimaldi was quick to admit there had been “difficult” days between the two, a sentiment Nick echoed when he joined her on stage. Even Bachelor Nation was questioning the love between the newly engaged couple.

Goodbye Wisconsin, and hello New Orleans.
The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 5 took us to a new location, but the drama was the same.
Taylor and Corinne are still arguing about who is more mature, which kind of says it all. I mean, nothing says maturity like getting into a fight on The Bachelor, right?
They are also having a hard time agreeing on a definition for "emotional intelligence," which again, I think says it all.
What does that say about your emotional intelligence, bitch?

Don't forget that Taylor is a mental health counselor. I hope her patients aren't watching.
Corinne goes to Nick and tells him that Taylor is rude and all of the girls think so too. Normally it doesn't work when one of the girls complains about someone else, but this is Corinne's world and...

Ali Fedotowsky got her first taste of the spotlight in 2010 when she tried to win Jake Pavelka's heart on season 14 of The Bachelor. Audiences quickly fell in love with her cute and bubbly personality, so when she left the show to keep her job (smart girl), she was an easy choice to be the next Bachelorette. She ended her quest for love by getting engaged to Roberto Martinez during the finale in 2010, but the couple sadly split in November 2011. She then began dating radio and TV host Kevin Manno in 2013, and since then, the happy couple have gotten engaged and welcomed their adorable daughter, Molly, in July 2016. Ali frequently shares the cutest photos of her family on Instagram, and if you don't want to pinch Molly's cheeks after scrolling through them all, you're made of stone. It was a special two-hour episode of Ben and Lauren because apparently one hour just isn't enough. On Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After? Season 1 Episode 5, America's favorite Bachelor has cold feet about his upcoming wedding to Lauren and the two are forced to make tough decisions.
For Lauren, it's all bridesmaid dresses and color schemes. (It's obvious Lauren hasn't been through too much.)
Molly: I know my sister and there are three things that scare her to death: heights, sharks and hot pink.
Permalink: heights, sharks and hot pink. Added: November 15, 2016
For Ben, it's all doubts and worrying about expressing himself. So basically nothing has changed his since his season of The Bachelor.
Personally, I'm disappointed that there aren't any Bachelor alums in her bridal party. Does this mean her relationship with the twins is just for TV? The horror.
The couple decides to go to counseling after their wedding disagreements.
