She acted in Larry Gallagher's musical, "Beehive," at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts with Bridget Beirne, Danielle Chambers, Lindsey Gordon, Laiona Michelle, and Jennifer Zimmerman in the cast.
Giovanni's philanthropic interests include supporting and/or working with the Special Olympics, the Lupus Foundation, and the Sunshine Kids Foundation (the executive director of which is G.W. Bailey, her Major Crimes (2012) co-star).
