Asher Goldschmidt is an internationally acclaimed film music composer with over 15 years of experience in the industry.
He is a recipient of the Best Score Award at the Jerusalem Film Festival for his work on the Israeli feature film "Shake Your Cares Away" executive produced by Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Michel Hazavanicius and starring Bérénice Bejo.
He composed the soundtrack for "The Kindergarten Teacher" - an American feature film (with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Gael García Bernal) that won the Best Direction Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
Prior to this, he created the soundtrack of "White God", a feature film by Kornél Mundruczó (Pieces of a Woman, Jupiter's Moon) that not only won Cannes' prestigious Un Certain Regard section but became Hungary's official entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards.
He composed the soundtrack of the HBO Europe series "The Informant" created by Bálint Szentgyörgyi, that was the most viewed content in Hungary in 2022 and was released in 61 countries around the world.
Asher's most recent work has been the score for one of the most epic European TV productions of all time, "Rise of the Raven" - from acclaimed producer Robert Lantos (Eastern Promises, Sunshine).
