Roberto Ferreira is a multifaceted creative mind with nearly 40 years of collective experience in writing, directing, producing, web designing, and even puppetry instruction. Within that time, he has both written and directed an array of short films and web series, as well as hundreds of puppetry videos. He also had the opportunity to travel abroad early on in his career as an actor and dancer. Seeing the world and experiencing different cultures shaped his worldview and helped him cultivate a more well-rounded perspective on life. On top of that, he had the once-in-a-lifetime chance to collaborate with director John Boorman on the feature film, "The Emerald Forest."
However, Roberto's most transformative moment was when he combined his expertise in Los Angeles back in 2006 in order to pursue a lifelong career in filmmaking. In fact, the first studio apartment he lived in faced the Hollywood sign, which to him, served as the ultimate "sign" that he was on the right path. Ultimately, everything he previously experienced culminated into him becoming a successful director. This became particularly apparent to Roberto the day he took his first class as a part of UCLA Extension's prestigious Director Certificate Program.
Roberto is the Owner and CEO of a production company established in 2016 called Cre8tive Space, which is the parent company of Puppetry Plus, Rent A Puppet, and Doctor Puppet (a web series that he wrote, directed, and starred in). Prior to that, he was the Co-owner of Puppet School from 2010 to 2015.
No matter what artistic venture he takes on, Roberto's vision remains unchanged, and that's to help people open doors to new universes that instill them with the inspiration to actualize anything they set their infinite minds to.
Roberto may have a complex mind, but he is a simple person. When he isn't immersed in all things creative, you can find him practicing yoga and studying philosophy. He also has an avid interest in human behavioral patterns. However, his life is and will always be directing.
