Natasha M. Hall
No, Natasha is not a 6-foot, blond-haired lover, Russian spy, or ballet dancer, though it seems every Russian cabbie would argue differently.

Natasha was, however, born and raised in two worlds. One world was Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, NY, during the crack epidemic. The second world was a strict and traditional Caribbean household, and if you throw in recurring nightmares that felt more like memories, that's her childhood in a nutshell.

A second-generation immigrant and first-generation American, her family immigrated from Barbados in the 70s, where she grew up as part of New York's Middle Class. As such, she had to become an excellent code switcher in an attempt to fit in, never really being Caribbean enough, Black enough, American enough, American Black enough, poor enough, or rich enough.

Now, as a product of these worlds and those nightmares, Natasha writes dark fantasies about characters grappling with their identity, and struggling to be authentic while navigating social expectations.

Since moving to LA, she has worked for HBO and has placed in several writing competitions, including the 2nd round of the Disney Writing Program, a semifinalist at PAGE in 2015, and was the winner of WeScreenplay's Diverse Voices in 2016. Most recently, she won Gold at the Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest.

Natasha is repped by Brandy Rivers at Industry Entertainment.
