Preity worked as an Investment Banker prior to being involved in the entertainment industry. She worked for Management Consultancies and had clients in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

She was only 16 when she started university- the youngest student to enroll that year in Australia. She graduated with a degree in information technology and a degree in Marketing. She also holds first class honors in E-Marketing.

She has backpacked and traveled all around the world alone -- including dangerous countries like Cambodia, Dubai and India.

She was offered a scholarship to study for a PHD at her alma mater upon graduation, at only 20 years of age.
