The first two episodes amassed a collective 7.5M viewers across the world in the first 7 days across Paramount+ and broadcast sampling run on CBS, according to Paramount Global.
That spells more than double the 3.55M viewers that tuned in live + same-day, for the back-to-back broadcast premiere on CBS, Nielsen reported. After debuting on Paramount+ on November 5, the two episodes received a broadcast run on November 12, following an episode of Yellowstone.
Other series that premiered on Paramount+ this year include Taylor Sheridan’s Special Ops: Lioness, which also debuted to an audience record in July.

The creator of Lawmen: Bass Reeves is setting the record straight about whether the show is a spinoff of 1883.
When the show was initially ordered, it was billed by Paramount+ as a spinoff of the first Yellowstone prequel.
Chad Feehan, the creator and showrunner of the highly-anticipated new drama, is opening up about what changed to TV Line.
Making the show a spinoff of the critically-lauded 1883 "was an idea we briefly talked about," Feehan explained to the outlet.
"But for me, once I learned some of the things I didn't know about Bass' life, and decided where we wanted to start the story and where we wanted to end the story, it preceded 1883," he added.
In a separate interview with TV Insider, Feehan said the idea to make it a spinoff was talked about before he was hired.

The logline for the series states it will “bring the legendary lawman of the wild west to life. One of the best feelings in the world is discovering a series or a movie that you didn’t know about and realizing how distinct it is from anything else out there. Since working at JoBlo.com, I have been lucky enough to come across several series that I enjoyed and got to tell you about them. Sometimes, I am lucky enough to talk to the talent involved about the project and how it came to be. Such is the case with the new Peacock series, Leopard Skin. After watching the excellent series Jett, creator/director Sebastian Gutierrez and star Carla Gugino were kind enough to let me know about their latest project, this half-hour crime series that debuted on Peacock recently (check out our review).
Leopard Skin can be categorized as a heist series, a thriller, a drama, or any number of labels but it thrives by not being locked down to one genre.

Plot: A criminal gang takes two women and their guests hostage when they seek shelter in a remote paradise, where secrets, betrayals and desires bubble to the surface as everyone awaits their fate.
Review: Never underestimate a well-crafted heist. A masterfully constructed plan, whether or not it goes awry, is always a sight to behold. Like a Rube-Goldberg Device or painstakingly arranged rows of dominoes, I am a sucker for a good heist story. Over the years, film and television have played home to stellar examples of this but many are focused on trying to one-up what came before rather than revel in the story itself. Sebastian Gutierrez’s latest project, the Peacock original series Leopard Skin, is a prime example of the pulpy fun you can get out of a heist and its aftermath by pitting a group of characters opposite one another with only the prospect of survival driving them.

The Walking Dead has come to an end after 11 seasons and 147 episodes.
While the world of the programme will continue to be explored in a series of spin-offs, the main show drew to a conclusion in a finale that aired on Sunday (20 November).
As was expected and hoped for by viewers, the finale featured showdowns, nostalgic callbacks and returning faces.
But how did The Walking Dead end?
*Spoilers follow – you have been warned*
The series tied up the Commonwealth storyline by sparing the life of Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), the villainous governor who was happy to let her people die while she was holed up in a gated community.
All the characters, with the help of Pamela’s one-time compadre Mercer (Michael James Shaw), banded together to imprison Pamela. They also detonated the horde of walkers – who had developed the ability to fight back – that had overrun the Commonwealth.

At a time when so many crime thrillers tend toward the dark, gritty and prestige-minded, Peacock’s Leopard Skin stands out for being none of those things. While its setup sounds typical enough for the genre — a botched heist, terrified hostages, secrets and standoffs and betrayals — its execution proves to be anything but.
Created, written and directed by Sebastian Gutierrez (Jett), this series dances backward and forward in time, taking leisurely detours down semi-random rabbit holes and flights of fancy. It rarely misses an opportunity to admire the beauty of the (frequently unclothed) female form, or to plug into the crackling tension, amorous or otherwise, coursing between its characters. It’s ostensibly a drama, but one studded with oddball jokes.
All these excesses are held together not with airtight plotting, but through a hazy dream logic that at times feels downright opaque. As such,...

Peacock’s upcoming crime thriller series Leopard Skin, starring Carla Gugino (The Haunting of Hill House), Amelia Eve (The Haunting of Bly Manor), and Ana de la Reguera (Narcos), has debuted a steamy new trailer. The footage above showcases the ensemble cast, which also features Gentry White (UnREAL), Philip Winchester (Rogue), Margot Bingham (The Walking Dead), Gaite Jansen (Peaky Blinders), Nora Arnezeder (Safe House), and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, trapped in a secluded paradise with a gang of thieves. “Fleeing a botched diamond heist, a criminal gang seeks shelter in the remote paradise of Playa Perdida, Mexico, in the beachside estate of two women, Alba and Batty,” according to an official synopsis. “Dark and humorous complications arise when they are joined by two dinner guests (TV producer Max and his flighty girlfriend Maru) and Alba’s former housekeeper as they all are soon taken hostage. With two episodes now remaining, “The Walking Dead” delivers one of the best episodes of the season. Following up after the weak “Outpost 22,” “Faith” gets the narrative completely back on track and elevates the tension in exciting ways. A revolt is heating up from within the survivors trapped at the labor camp all while Eugene is legitimately put on trial before a judge within the Commonwealth. The two competing main narratives couldn’t be more distinct, yet each of them has enough redeeming qualities and tension to keep viewers hooked.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 19
The opening montage of this week’s The Walking Dead asks an important question of both its survivors and the audience: does it take more courage to live than to die in this environment? It’s underscored by a montage of Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and his lower moments, from begging Abraham (Michael Cudlitz in flashback form) to save his life to joining up with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) during the Savior days. Eugene has never had the courage to die, but he’s always been able to find a way to live, thanks in no small part to his talent in prevarication (Aka lying) when needs must. Now, Eugene faces his hardest challenge to date. Will he flee to safety with Daryl (Norman Reedus), Rosita (Christian Serratos), and the rest of his friends, or will he stay behind...

The Walking Dead deviated from the source material again, resulting in one of the most shocking episodes to date.
The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 18 found Max (Margot Bingham) recording Sebastian (Teo Rapp-Olsson) revealing the corruption inside the Commonwealth.
Max enlisted Eugene (Josh McDermitt) to help her play the recording during Founder's Day as Sebastian's mother, Pamela (Laila Robins), was in damage control mode following recent events.
Sebastian realized what Max did and tried to kill her, but Eugene popped up in the nick of time and shoved Sebastian toward a walker.
Sebastian was killed, changing the trajectory of the Commonwealth arc for good.
Bingham tells TV Fanatic that Max is standing up for what's right.
"She's able to do that in a way that Mercer is not," the star shares.
"I think she's able to do all of the dirty work and really support her brother because she knows at the root of it,...

The final eight-episode run of “The Walking Dead” continues with “A New Deal.” Things immediately pick up with the imprisonment of the reckless Hornsby (Josh Hamilton) and the desperate attempt for Pamela Minton to save her son Sebastian’s (Teo Rapp-Olsson) reputation. Meanwhile, Daryl bonds with Judith as they prepare to return home to Alexandria. It’s clear from these first two episodes that the back quarter of the show’s final season is not wasting any time.
Continuing the trend of opening the episode with classic footage, “A New Deal” shows a brief montage of Daryl Dixon’s journey in its opening minutes. Much like the Rick-centered footage from last week, this sequence is narrated by Judith Grimes. These montage spotlights on the legacy characters are not only emotional, but a fitting way to emphasize the importance of this final string of the narrative.

This article contains spoilers for The Walking Dead season 11 episode 18.
People of the zombie apocalypse, rejoice! Sebastian Milton (Teo Rapp-Olsson), son of Pamela, nepotism baby of the Commonwealth and all-around monster, has officially been devoured by walkers as of season 11’s eighteenth episode, “A New Deal.” Though it would be disingenuous to say he will be missed, it is also true that the impact of his death is sure to affect the final episodes of the series. For instance, we now know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the show will not end the same way the comic did, where Sebastian played a markedly different role as the final antagonist of the series.
While it would have been clear to any fan of the comics that the show was not following the same blueprint as far back as the second season when characters like Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) began to diverge from their counterparts,...

With just eight episodes of The Walking Dead left, the stakes are higher than ever.
The series returns at a breakneck pace as we delve deeper into the conflict behind the walls of the Commonwealth and the desperate battle for survival.
Pamela Milton (Laila Robins) is the leader of this compound, and she's been left vulnerable for the first time following an explosive story in the town paper.
Robins tells TV Fanatic that Pamela is "determined" when the series picks back up because her entire family legacy is at stake.
"Pamela carries the weight," Laila adds of Pamela.
"Carrying that weight has warped her personality a little."
Laila doesn't think Pamela thinks about her own mental health because she's so focused on the Commonwealth and the responsibility she holds.
Mercer was tirelessly devoted to the cause of the Commonwealth, but he's starting to put together the fact that some shady things are going on.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 15
Everyone in the world of The Walking Dead is keeping an impressive amount of heavy secrets. As Ezekiel (Khary Payton) says in “Trust,” darkness is heavy, and some people can carry more of it than others. For Ezekiel, his dark secret is also his way to spread a little light into a world sorely needing it. For someone like Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), it seem as if it’s just darkness all the way down. Everyone else is cloaked in shades of gray. Democracy might die in darkness, but The Commonwealth thrives in foggy dusk and bruised dawn light and the true currency is secrecy.
However, the darkness carried can overwhelm even the strongest shoulders, and even the darkest heart can be overcome with worry, even if it’s only the selfish fear of discovery that motivates. Throughout “Trust,...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 12, “The Lucky Ones.”] In this week’s The Walking Dead, we learn a little more about why Maggie (Lauren Cohan) seemed to be at odds with her old pal Daryl (Norman Reedus) and the Commonwealth in the midseason premiere’s final minutes. Whether or not she should be is perhaps another question entirely — simply put, while folks in Ohio are thriving, Maggie’s just surviving. Barely. We also learn Max’s (Margot Bingham) side of the story with the whole Eugene (Josh McDermitt) debacle, and Ezekiel (Khary Payton) gets called in for surgery. Here’s how it happens. Josh Stringer/AMC Commonwealth leader Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), military leader Mercer (Michael James Shaw) and Daryl, along with a group of soldiers, all head for Alexandria and its surrounding communities. It’s Lance’s aim to show Pamela what the Commonwealth would...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 11
Of all the characters on The Walking Dead, there’s only one who would have the mindset needed to build a proper evidence dungeon, with the red string lines, sketched photos. and everything that entails. Enter Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), who is both flamboyant enough and paranoid enough to do just that very thing when his girlfriend Stephanie (Margot Bingham) goes missing overnight. Things were going well, with the two spending the night together and Stephanie enjoying Eugene’s rough draft sci-fi novel, then she fails to show up for an ice cream date, doesn’t answer her door when called, and has put in a mysterious work transfer request shortly after movers pack up her apartment and take her things away.
Eugene didn’t need a reason to distrust The Commonwealth. Simply by the means of introduction he had with them,...

Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead led Eugene out on a limb, took Aaron right up to the edge, brought Maggie and Negan to the point of fisticuffs and delivered to Carol a sliver of hope — and the recap below has all the details.
‘I Haven’T Met A Whisperer That Wasn’T A Liar’ | After a stylized prologue in which Aaron and Gracie were stalked in his nightmare by Wolves, Whisperers and everything in between, “Out of the Ashes” sent our one-armed protagonist to the ruins of Hilltop with Carol, Lydia and Jerry in hopes of retrieving tools...

(This article contains spoilers for the second episode of the final season of “The Walking Dead”)
“The Walking Dead” has gone increasingly off-book in the past few seasons, but the Commonwealth storyline has thus far gone generally pretty much the same as it went in the comics. But that likely won’t last, because we’ve got a pretty different crew of characters here than in the original storyline — Ezekiel, for example, was dead by this point.
But the potential change from the source material I’m most concerned about right now involves Stephanie, Eugene’s friend from the radio who finally made an in-person appearance for the first time on this week’s episode. Or at least that’s what they want us to think.
There are several red flags with Stephanie right off the bat.
First: They brought her in at the end of a marathon series of...

The 11th and final season of AMC Network’s “The Walking Dead” took a ratings hit in its linear premiere compared to its most recent season opener nearly two years ago. But viewership was on par with the Season 10 finale in April, proving there’s life in the franchise yet on linear TV even as more people watch online via AMC’s streaming platform.
The premiere episode that debuted at 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22 delivered 3.2 million total viewers, including 1.6 million in the adults 25-54 demo, and 1.2 million in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen’s just-released live-plus-3 ratings. Last season’s debut episode in October 2019 garnered 4 million total viewers and a 1.44 rating in adults 18-49.
Cable ratings have dropped collectively since “The Walking Dead” bowed in 2010, but the massively popular Robert Kirkman and Image Comics flagship adaptation, which has spawned three spinoffs and other projects in active development, remains a Top...
