Italian composer and conductor, professor.
Considered among the exponents of the "new European school for film music", he has over 80 soundtracks to his credit, including film, cinema, TV, documentaries, installations, in Italy and around the world. He is an official member of the European Film Academy. He is an official member of the Polish Academy "Orly".
He is the 2016 Chioma di Berenice Award; He is the 2017 Polish Film Festival Award; He is nominated for the Polish Oscars "Orly" 2018. He has won over 50 awards all over the world.
He was invited by the FMF of Krakow 2018 among the guest composers performed by the Krakow Symphony Orchestra, together with Oscar winners Michael Nyman, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jeff Beal, Clint Mansell. Reference composer of the Vatican for the Rai / CTV-Vatican / La Repubblica series: "Discovering the Vatican Museums" (Series of 6 episodes - 2016) and "Divina Bellezza" (Series of 10 episodes - 2018) conducted by Alberto Angela and produced by RAI. He composed "This Mercy" for the closing of the Jubilee of the Church, a piece whose verses are by Pope Francis (Jorge Bergoglio), RAI UNO. Together with Bacalov, Morricone, Piovani and other illustrious colleagues he was among the composers chosen by Piero Angela and Paco Lanciano to play "Journey into the Forums" at the Forum of Augustus and Caesar, Rome.
