A likable, boyish-looking actor with an Owen Wilson like appearance and a friendly smile, James "Jay" Donnelly is a native of Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas but raised in Lucas, Texas as a child he dreamed of being a movie director after watching all the Harry Potter, Star Wars, and NeverEnding Story films and that dream of his only grew stronger when he was 11 and got into classic horror films such as the classic black and white universal classics like Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman as well as the 70's/80's slashers such as Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th and at age 12 him and his brother Sam made Spy vs. Spy like short films with they nerf guns. But lost interests in that dream when he was 13. Then at age 16 got inspired to become an actor after finding out that there was a local film called "The Last Champion" was being shot in his hometown looking for extras which him and his mom went and did together. Then two years later at age 18 got back into his director and extra phase and him and a friend made a short comedy called "The Jump Rope" and appeared as a background actor in two scenes of a movie shot locally in his hometown called "Young Bolsheviks" the first scene he was in was shot August 23, 2020, when he was 18 and the second October 17, 2020, when he was almost 19. Then at age 20 got discovered and got his first speaking part role which was 16-year-old Stu Macher in the 2022 Scream prequel "Of Mice and Boys". As of now he is doing both acting, directing, and writing and hopes that people enjoy his work.
