Shudder is looking to warm the hearts of horror fans in the Us this February with a wide range of titles, including the new documentary Horror Noire, Eli Roth's History of Horror TV series (for those that missed it on its initial AMC run), 1981's Bloody Birthday, Frank Henenlotter's Brain Damage, and Sean Byrne's The Loved Ones.

Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are coming to Amazon. Recently, the streaming service announced the two will provide voices for the upcoming TV show Comrade Detective.Set in 1980s Romania, the live-action cop show parody "is presented in Romanian and dubbed in English—as a Romanian show of that time would have been." On any normal day, a project that involved Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt would pique my interest. It turns out that the project that they are currently involved with together sounds amazing!
It was recently announced that Tatum’s pet project television show, Comrade Detective, will be hitting Amazon on August 4th of this year. Never heard of it before? Me either, but now that I have, I can’t wait to see it.
The series is being presented as a half-hour 1980s TV series from Romania and Tatum and Gordon-Levitt will be providing the voice dubbing for the two Romanian actors, Florin Piersic Jr. and Corneliu Ulici, that are playing Detectives Gregor Anghel and Iosef Baciu. You know, because in the 80s Romania wasn't showing English speaking TV shows. Here's the synopsis:
