Sarah Schnare is an accomplished and award-winning producer, known for her extensive work in the field of news and media. She began her career at CNN in Atlanta, where she served as a news and field producer for Larry King Live, the network's highest-rated and longest-running program. During her tenure, Sarah traveled extensively to cover national and global news stories and produced nearly 3,000 interviews featuring a diverse range of guests, including world leaders, movie stars, and UFO enthusiasts.
Sarah's dedication to her craft has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades, including a DuPont-Columbia Award in 2004 for her contribution to CNN's coverage of the South Asian earthquake and tsunami. She is also the recipient of three Peabody Awards for her work during Hurricane Katrina (2005), the Presidential Primary Campaigns & Debates (2008), and the Gulf Oil Spill (2010). In addition, Sarah was nominated for a NAACP Image Award in 2008 for her Larry King Live interview with Sidney Poitier.
Throughout her career, Sarah has also contributed her talents to a variety of other media outlets, including Turner Sports, the Goodwill Games in Australia, On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, E! In addition to her professional achievements, Sarah is also a former ski racer and Canadian track and field star. She graduated summa cum laude on a track scholarship from Drake University and completed her education at the Institute of Political Journalism at Georgetown.
