The Actors Fund, the national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, announced today their lineup of performers to pay special tribute to this year's honorees at their Annual Gala on Monday, April 29, 2019. Michael Urie Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song hosts the evening that will include performances by Amber Gray Hadestown, Beth Leavel, Michael Potts, Matthew Sklar The Prom, Damon Daunno,Rebecca Naomi Jones Rodgers amp Hammerstein's Oklahoma, Sarah Stiles Tootsie and a special appearance by Chairman of The Actors Fund Brian Stokes Mitchell. Luke Hawkins amp Evan Ruggiero will open the Gala with an original tap dance number. Additional presenters and guests include Annette Bening,Kenny Leon, Jawan M. Jackson, Tony Kushner, Will Roland, Brandon Uranowitz, Eric William Morris, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Gideon Glick and more. Performers and guests are subjects to change.

Jeff Pew is currently performing in Rodgers And Hammerstein'S Cinderella on Broadway as a member of the Ensemble and an understudy for Prince Topher. In 2015, he will join the cast of the new musical First Wives Club as it heads to Chicago for its pre-Broadway run. As a pianist, Jeff works consistently as an accompanist for American Ballet Theatre and Mark Morris Dance Group. He also has his own YouTube channel with his best friend Luke Hawkins, aptly called 'The Luke and Jeff Show,' which highlights their piano-playing, tap-dancing adventures. He is from San Jose, CA and holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Byu.

Clemenger Bbdo Sydney has appointed Ben Clare to senior copywriter. Clare joins the company from Johannes Leonardo New York, which he joined in 2010.

Ben Clare, the creative lead on Google’s Project Re: Brief, which won the Grand Prix in Mobile at Cannes 2012, has joined Clemenger Bbdo Sydney as a senior copywriter, partnering with Luke Hawkins.
Clare has returned home to Sydney after working at Johannes Leonardo New York for the past two years. He joined the agency in 2010 helping it grow from 12 to 50 people in 18 months. Founded by Australian expat Leo Premutico and Jan Jacobs in 2007, it was awarded AdAge’s Small Agency of the Year in 2011.
Paul Nagy, Ecd of Clemenger Bbdo Sydney, says we’ve been lucky at the agency recently, in that after people freelance for us, they generally want to stay around and work permanently.

Last night’s WWE SmackDown taping results from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The show will air Friday night on SyFy (Us) and on Sky Sports (UK).

Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Hawkins.
SmackDown results;
World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus opens the show and cuts a promo on Alberto Del Rio and their title match at WWE No Way Out. David Otunga then comes out and demands an apology from Sheamus for running down John Laurinaitis two weeks ago. Sheamus refuses and Del Rio comes out. Otunga reveals that Del Rio will pick Sheamus’ opponent tonight. Otunga then gets hit with the Brogue Kick as Del Rio flees to the back.
1) Sin Cara (with new read and white ring gear and new pyro) defeated Heath Slater in his return match. The bout was said to be a good one and had no botches!
2) Damien Sandow defeated Ezekiel Jackson with the neckbreaker finisher.
