Set to the tune of “Pilot” by Magic, the video out Tuesday shows Happy return to the world of pro golf against today’s hottest, real-life players nearly 30 years after the events of the first film. Still, he’s clearly made a name for himself in the time since as he’s considered one of the greats alongside Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

Julie Bowen, Bad Bunny and Ben Stiller each get their own moments in the clip, while Christopher McDonald, Dennis Dugan and Allen Covert are set to reprise their roles in the sequel to the 1996 sports comedy classic. Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, Margaret Qualley, Benny Safdie, Nick Swardson and Kym Whitley also star.

Song writes and directs A24 film “Materialists,” starring Dakota Johnson as an ambitious New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex. These days, it seems like all anyone can talk about in Hollywood are "nepo babies." Originating in the early 2020s, "nepo baby" describes individuals whose success can be attributed to a parent or relative's previous success in the same industry due to nepotism. Plenty of celebrities have achieved accolades without fans knowing about their famously talented families. Some of the most iconic A-listers in film and TV owe their successes to extreme privilege, such as people like Ben Stiller, or Zoë Kravitz. 

Most of the time, nepo babies are forced to wear their privilege on their sleeves just by virtue of their names, as Allison Williams (daughter of former NBC anchor Brian Williams) told Wired, "It doesn't feel like a loss to admit it ... If you trust your own skill, I think it becomes very simple to acknowledge." Though it’s a full dozen I still had to leave out highly enjoyable star turns from June Squibb in Thelma and Scarlett Johansson in Fly Me to the Moon, as well as Amy Adams' funny and underappreciated juggling of dowdy and feral as “Mother” in Nightbitch. The actual shortlist for my own Best Lead Actress honors is revealed at the end.

The group spoke with English actor Jason Isaacs about his role as Timothy Ratliff on The White Lotus.

“I love this show; it’s a pop culture phenomenon. The current Season 3 is no different; it does not disappoint,” Gayle said before introducing a clip from the show.

Isaacs’ character is a wealthy Southerner, and he nailed the accent for the role.

Things started when King asked, “Was that you or was that a prosthetic? Because we were debating it.”

Isaacs appeared willing to entertain the conversation to a point. “A lot of people were debating it. It’s all over the internet,” he answered, before King pointed out, “You didn’t answer the question!”

“Well, I’ll tell you why,” Isaacs bounced back. “Because the Best Actress this year was Mikey Madison at the Oscars, and I don’t see anybody discussing her vulva, which is on [screen] all the time.

The White Lotus season 3 episode 4 featured an unexpected full-frontal nude scene that's been cause for much debate.

Did the Harry Potter alum use a prosthetic penis in the scene? Was that really him? It's been the conversation surrounding the scene since the episode aired, and Isaacs was asked point blank while dropping by CBS Mornings to promote the HBO show. Hideo Kojima is bringing his signature storytelling to the big screen. Following the recent announcement of Death Stranding 2 at The Game Awards, Kojima Productions has officially partnered with Hammerstone Studios to develop and produce a film adaptation of Death Stranding.

Per Deadline, Hammerstone, led by Alex Lebovici, will fully finance the film, with Kojima himself producing alongside Lebovici. Additional production support will come from Kojima Productions US, with Allan Ungar serving as an executive producer. While details on the plot remain under wraps, the film promises to expand on the Death Stranding universe, introducing new elements and characters rather than directly adapting the game’s storyline.

While video game adaptations have historically been hit-or-miss, Kojima and Lebovici are setting out to redefine the genre. Unlike the typical blockbuster-style adaptations, they promise something more intimate and grounded.

The Taoiseach of Ireland/Prime Minister of Ireland Michael Martin was here in Austin, TX on Monday along with Cinetic CEO John Sloss, The Astronaut filmmaker Jess Varley, and Irish producer Tristan Orpen Lynch to share the great experience of not only shooting in the country of leas and cliffs, but also the extremely competitive tax credit.

Sloss recently produced the Richard Linklater Berlin premiere, Blue Moon, over in Ireland, in addition to Varley with her SXSW world premiere The Astroanaut, and Lynch with his drama series Mix Tape.

Currently the Irish tax incentive for the screen industries, Section 481, provides a tax credit of up to 32% on eligible Irish expenditures based on 80% of a pic’s budget. That will soon rise to 40% for productions under 20 million Euros.

While an X-Men reboot is (finally) in development, Marvel Studios has also brought several actors from 20th Century Fox's now defunct franchise back to reprise their respective roles in the MCU.

Most recently, Hugh Jackman returned for Deadpool and Wolverine, and we also saw Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Kelsey Grammar as Beast in The Marvels' post-credits scene.

In the stinger, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wakes up in a medical lab after getting trapped in an alternate reality following her battle with Dar-Benn to find her late mother, Maria (Lashana Lynch), by her side. Rambeau is overcome with joy, but Maria - who is actually this world's Binary - has no idea who she is.

As Monica's confusion grows, a familiar voice asks "how's our patient," and a comic-accurate, fully CGI Hank McCoy, aka Beast, enters the room.

“The Substance” is the horror feature, written and directed by Coralie Fargeat, starring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid, following a ‘fading celebrity’ who uses a black market drug to create a much younger version of herself, now streaming on digital platforms:

We assumed Kelsey Grammar would be staying on as the McU's Hank McCoy after his post-credits scene cameo in The Marvels, but it seems Marvel Studios is planning to cast a new actor as Beast in the upcoming X-Men reboot.

According to The Hot Mic's Jeff Sneider, Jesse Plemons is in consideration to play Beast in the movie. We're not sure if he's actually met with Marvel about the role or is simply a person of interest, but we can see quite a lot of fans getting behind this particular rumor.

Plemons is just the latest actor to be mentioned in connection with one of the main mutant roles in the film. Harris Dickinson and Jack Champion are reportedly being eyed to play Cyclops, with Stranger Things alum Sadie Sink a likely pick for Jean Grey. We've also heard that The Bear's Ayo Edebiri and DeWanda Wise are on the studio's radar to play Storm.

We’ve been hearing that Margaret Qualley would be working with Sanctuary director Zachary Wigon again on the psychological horror thriller Victorian Psycho, which was scheduled to start filming this month. In late January, Qualley even confirmed that she was working on her British accent in preparation for the film. But now, industry scooper Jeff Sneider reports that Victorian Psycho has lost Qualley just days before it was supposed to go into production. Sneider first dropped this news on the podcast The Hot Mic, then shared it in his The InSneider newsletter as well. Sneider wrote, “I’m not sure why, though it’s possible that a scheduling issue (perhaps with Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars?) prevented her involvement.”

Now we’ll have to wait and see who ends up replacing Qualley as the Victorian Psycho, as Wigon is said to be “scrambling” to find a new star for his film.

The 2025 Oscars just happened, which means the Academy has been celebrating the talents behind the success of movies for over 97 years. And like all years, this year’s award ceremony was also filled with red-carpet moments, celebrities in flashy clothes, and a humorous host.

This year’s Oscars were supposed to be one for the history books, filled with record-breaking achievements and the making of legacies. A Spanish movie, Emilia Perez, was the frontrunner for the Oscars with 13 nominations, a first in Oscar history. Even Adrian Brody made it to the list of nominations again, and as expected, he converted that nomination into a win. He even had a moment with Halle Berry, making a callback to the 2003 Oscars.

There was even a brilliant performance from The Substance actor Margaret Qualley as she paid tribute to 60 years of Bond movies. All of these moments were adding up to make the four-hour Oscars feel much shorter.

On Sunday night (March 2), the 29-year-old Grammy-winning rapper performed “Diamonds Are Forever” during the James Bond tribute at the 2025 Academy Awards.

The day after the big event, Doja took to Instagram to respond to backlash over her performance.
