She recently retired from the choir at her church after 60 years and was the music librarian for over 40 years.
Shirley performed as Mrs. Ida Straus in live productions of "The Last Night On The Titanic" at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island for several years and at other venues. She is presently a Vintage Fashion Model for "Fashion and the Automobile"
