Bella Doll
- Actress
- Producer
With a smart, classic style, and a wry, sardonic wit, Bella Doll (nee Bellucci) has entertained porn fans, swapped ideas with gender-focused intellectuals, and been an outspoken but supportive critic of the trans porn niche... earning her share of both support and opposition along the way. Born and raised just outside of Boston, MA, Bella relocated to Orange County, CA in 2005 and emerged on the burgeoning transsexual porn scene in 2009. With a background in political activism and analysis, she has since expanded upon that media to offer mainstream talk shows such as trans-issue-oriented talk show Translation (YouTube) and Because Bella (Spreaker), which focused on adult entertainment, politics, and nerd culture.
Citing health issues, she stepped down from her role in the production of Translation, effectively ending the show after only six episodes. She also temporarily suspended operations of Bella-XXX. Shortly after, in 2014, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, which went into remission in early 2015.
Bella returned to the scene in early 2016. Later that year, she joined the production staff of The Dr. Susan Block Show, and also became the Communications Director for the International Adult Entertainment Union.
With the intention of building coalitions that benefit the entire industry, she is also a proud member of both Free Speech Coalition and Adult Performer Advocacy Committee.
