Carla Patullo is a Grammy®-winning composer and musician who has written music for over 40 motion pictures, including the Disney+ film Maxine, Trick Studio's animated documentary Lotte that Silhouette Girl, the SXSW hit Porno, and the dark comedy Everybody Dies Sometimes which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
She is a Sundance Film Music Lab alumna and has performed her music at the Sundance Film Festival, NXNE, SXSW, Italy's Arezzo Wave Festival, San Francisco Pride, Austin Pride, and New York City Pride.
Carla also fronted the Brooklyn-formed rock act White Widow, served as musical director for the legendary comedian Sandra Bernhard, and has shared the stage with Liza Minnelli, Rufus Wainwright, Tonality, Grayson Hugh, and many more.
Her previous recordings have been released via Walt Disney Records, Lakeshore Records, Quartet Records, Soundry Recordings, and Warner Bros/ Telepictures.
She is a four-time HMMA Award nominee. Recently Carla scored two historical films of animation pioneer Bessie Mae Kelley directed by Mindy Johnson, which were presented at the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences Museum.
