Tom Brady hasn’t had the breeziest past couple of years, so you could forgive him for lying low. Instead, the former Patriots quarterback is running headlong into another punishing sport.
Yes, the seven-time Super Bowl champion is the target of the first-ever roast that will be telecast live, and unedited as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. The Greatest Roast of All Time — or Groat if you will — will be hosted by Kevin Hart at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, featuring surprise guests from the worlds of sports, comedy, and entertainment. While the Brady rule might have once protected his legs, there’s no rule here about coming for his stated preference for soft balls.
Brady’s thoughts? “No f—ing problem,” he says in the trailer for the roast. Comedian Jeff Ross, aka the “Roastmaster General,” warns him, “We’re coming for you, pretty boy.” But...

Days Gone was an underrated PlayStation gem that was released in an underwhelming state back in 2019 but Bend Studio was able to bounce back and got the game to run smoothly on both PS4 and PS5 and eventually on PC.
However, initial reviews affected Sony’s judgment and canceled any future installments leaving fans with the ultimate cliffhanger.
John Garvin Strikes Back About The Canceled Days Gone Sequel
Bend Studio had plans for a Days Gone 2 but PlayStation isn’t interested at all.
In a recent post on X, director John Garvin dropped his two cents and shared his opinion of how he thinks Sony viewed his game. Truth be told, Days Gone had plenty of issues, especially on a technical aspect but was remedied with a series of patches and updates and can be easily forgiven thanks to its riveting storyline and entertaining gameplay.

Conan O’Brien is set to make his first appearance as a guest on The Tonight Show since his unceremonious departure.
The comedian hosted The Tonight Show between June 2009 and January 2010 but was replaced by Jay Leno’s return to the show after his short-lived primetime failure.
O’Brien will now be a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s version of the show on April 9, to promote his long-in-the-works travelogue, Conan O’Brien Must Go, which debuts on Max on April 18. Other guests on that show include Nicole Richie and musical guest Benson Boone.
The former Conan host – he hosted that show between 2010 and 2021 – has, however, made a short video appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show before. In 2018, he appeared in a skit that the former SNL star and The Late Show’s Stephen Colbert did.

But she finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Sheldon, a famed and formidable real estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance,” reads the Netflix synopsis. “At once horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively hunting for the truth – chasing his demons while fleeing her own – in a game of cat and mouse that might turn deadly.”

Four years after Showtime’s award-winning Homeland ended its eight-season run, star Claire Danes and creator Howard Gordon are reuniting at Netflix.
The streaming giant has handed out a straight-to-series order for The Beast in Me, a limited series starring Danes and from showrunner Gordon.
Created by Gabe Rotter, Netflix says the mystery thriller revolves around “acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs, who since the death of her young son has receded from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self. Netflix has given the green light to The Beast In Me, a limited series headlined and executive produced by Claire Danes. In addition to Danes, the mystery thriller project, created, written and executive produced by Gabe Rotter, is executive produced by Jodie Foster, Conan O’Brien via Conaco and Homeland co-creator/executive producer Howard Gordon who will serve as showrunner, reuniting with the acclaimed series’ star/executive producer Danes. 20th Television is the studio; Gordon is no longer under a deal at Sony Pictures TV, which explains his involvement.
The surprising mix of big names attached to the series reflects its long, twisty path to the screen — indicative of how hard it often is to get a show made — which we will get into in a bit. The story may also inspire aspiring writers not to give up.

“Abba Zabba, you my only friend!” Imagine they made a Half Baked 2. That sounds like a slam dunk, right? After all, the original didn’t set the box office on fire, but it’s presumably made a mint on home video. Well, it looks like Universal finally pulled the trigger on a Half Baked 2, but of the original cast, the only person to return is Rachel True, who played the love interest, Mary Jane. Yes folks, it happened, and the sequel, Half Baked: Totally High, is going straight to Blu-ray, with an April 16th release date.
All this begs the question, why, twenty-five years later, make a Half Baked sequel without either Dave Chappelle, an infinitely bigger star now than he was in 1998, and Jim Breuer? Chappelle, I kind of get – the man is busy and would probably cost millions and millions to get, but Jim Breuer? Could...

Conan O’Brien’s new international travel series Conan O’Brien Must Go will premiere on Max on Thursday, April 18, the comedian, podcaster and longtime late-night host unveiled today at SXSW. All four episodes will be available to stream.
Max and Conan announced the show last spring. “My fans around the globe never asked me to visit them, so I did,” the Emmy-winner quipped at the time.
It follows Conan as he travels far and wide, setting himself down in Norway, Thailand, Argentina and Ireland, to meet some of the people he had previously interviewed for his podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan — a spin-off of the popular podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.
Some trailers and teasers of the global goofiness have emerged but today’s session “fireside chat” in a packed ballroom at the Austin Convention Center, rolled out “never before seen” footage — of him skewering stale food...

John Cena hit the orange carpet in a striped suit at the premiere of his new movie Ricky Stanicky held at Regal-e Walk on Tuesday (March 5) in New York City.
The 46-year-old actor was joined by his wife Shay Shariatzadeh for his latest movie premiere, his second this year, following Argylle in January.
John was also seen posing for photos alongside people dressed as different musicians that John impersonates as his character in the movie.
Also hitting the carpet were his co-stars Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, Lex Scott Davis, Anja Savcic and Jeff Ross. Noticeably missing from the premiere was Zac Efron.
Here’s a synopsis for Ricky Stanicky: When three childhood best friends pull a prank gone wrong, they invent the imaginary Ricky Stanicky to get them out of trouble! Twenty years after creating this ‘friend,’ Dean, Jt, and Wes still use the nonexistent Ricky as a handy alibi for their immature behavior.

Dumb And Dumber’s Peter Farrelly’s latest film is Ricky Stanicky for Amazon Prime Video. Here’s the trailer and some details…

John Cena is the best friend whom Zac Efron never had in the first trailer for Prime Video’s comedy Ricky Stanicky.
Peter Farrelly directed the Amazon MGM Studios feature that begins streaming March 7. The movie follows Dean (Efron) and two lifelong friends who invent an imaginary pal named Ricky Stanicky as someone to blame for a childhood prank gone wrong. The three buddies continue to attribute their mishaps over the years to the nonexistent friend until finally deciding to hire a struggling actor known as “Rock Hard” Rod (Cena) to portray Ricky when their partners want to meet him.
“Ricky Stanicky isn’t real,” Efron tells Cena, who appears to be taking the gig too far. This leads Cena to explain why he wants to continue playing the part: “My job sucked, I had no friends. But now I have all those things.”

Peter Farrelly made his name in Hollywood by directing raunchy comedies such as "Dumb and Dumber" and "There's Something About Mary" alongside his brother, Bobby Farrelly. Since going solo, however, Peter Farrelly has been making more serious fare such as the Oscar-winning "Green Book." But now, he's back with an R-rated comedy in the form of "Ricky Stanicky." With an A-list cast and a ridiculous premise, it looks like a throwback in every conceivable way. Check out the trailer above for yourself.
Here, Farrelly is re-teaming with Zac Efron, who worked with him on "The Greatest Beer Run Ever." While Efron is coming off of the most serious performance of his career in "The Iron Claw," this sees him going back to his comedic roots, having previously starred in films like "Neighbors" and "Dirty Grandpa." Meanwhile, John Cena is getting to flex his comedic chops as well as the titular character.

What happens when a decades-old white lie starts snowballing out of control? Well, Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, Andrew Santino, and John Cena are all about to find out in Peter Farrelly’s new comedy film, Ricky Stanicky, which shared its first trailer today.
Set to premiere on Prime Video on March 7th, Ricky Stanicky tells the story of three longtime friends who have invented an imaginary character, named “Ricky Stanicky,” to strategically blame their misbehavior on. When their latest Stanicky antic doesn’t go as planned, though, their families begin to question what’s really going on. Hoping to quell any suspicions, the three come up with a solution: hire an actor to pretend to be Stanicky.

Late Night viewers may not have initially understood Conan O’Brien’s brand of humor, but there was an important demographic who did: college kids.
In Vanity Fair‘s oral history of Late Night with Conan O’Brien for the show’s 30th anniversary, its cast and crew detailed how the college demographic ended up inadvertently saving the series from cancellation.

However, exec Rick Ludwin convinced NBC to give the show another chance to find its audience.

Exclusive: Russell Brand’s last major television job in the UK ended with him being dropped after he was repeatedly accused of being a “sexual predator” during the recording of the show.
Brand was booked as a judge on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle in 2018, but only lasted a single season on the series after he himself was roasted on-camera over allegations he had sexually assaulted women. He strongly denies criminal wrongdoing.
Three sources close to the Fulwell 73 production said Roast Battle judge Katherine Ryan turned the heat on Brand a number of times during filming. Her allegations did not make the final edit.
The confrontations reveal how speculation about Brand was circulating in the comedy and TV worlds, but he continued to be employed on primetime series. The show appears to be something of a turning point, however, given Brand virtually vanished from UK television screens after 2018, except for...

Dave Chappelle wrapped his four-show stint in New York City to celebrate his 50th birthday with famous friends, including John Mayer, Busta Rhymes, Common, T.I. and Pete Davidson, who said he just finished rehab.

Davidson won over the audience with his jokes, saying he arrived in NYC on Saturday after completing a stint in rehab. The Saturday Night Live star joked about his drug use, saying doing drugs as a 30-year-old — he hits the milestone in November — would no longer be cute.

Conan O’Brien hosted more than 2,700 episodes of Late Night for NBC.
The series ran from September 13, 1993 through February 20, 2009 before he briefly took over The Tonight Show and then Conan for TBS.
But the comedian didn’t necessarily want to use the title, which began with David Letterman, who hosted it between 1982 and 1993.
He wanted to call it Nighty Night with Conan O’Brien.
“We thought was just really cartoony and funny,” he said on the Inside Conan podcast, which is produced by his Team Coco.
O’Brien and longtime exec producer Jeff Ross were speaking about the early days of the show, before it launched on the show, which is hosted by Conan writers Mike Sweeney and Jessie Gaskell.
However, the former Simpsons writer said that he was worried about being compared to Letterman, but was talked out of calling it Nighty Night by former NBC late-night chief Rick Ludwin.

Conan O'Brien may have been out of the late-night talk show game for a couple of years, but that doesn't seem to have slowed him down. After "Conan" ended in 2021, the legendary host started his own podcast, "Conan Needs A Friend," which has since spawned several off-shoots, one of which has now formed the basis for a new Conan-fronted show on Warner Bros Discovery's newly renamed Max service.
The streamer just announced "Conan O'Brien Must Go," a new four-episode international travel show that's currently in production over at Max. The idea here is that O'Brien will travel the world to meet fans he previously spoke with on his spin-off podcast "Conan Needs A Fan," in which he chatted with Zoomers around the globe. O'Brien's own Conaco company is producing the show, which is executive produced by the man himself and his longtime producing partner Jeff Ross.

Conan O’Brien is back in business with Warner Bros. Discovery.
The former late night host has set Conan O’Brien Must Go, a four-episode international travel series that sees him return to the conglomerate after Conan signed off in 2021 following an 11-year run.
The new series, which is already in production, will see O’Brien travel across the globe to visit new people he has met through his podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan.
“My fans around the globe never asked me to visit them, so I did,” O’Brien said in a cheeky statement announcing the series Wednesday. The project was formally unveiled during Warner Bros.
