Biography

Screenwriter with 14 years of experience, residing in Rio de Janeiro since 2000. From Natal, he transitioned from theater, and earned a master's degree in performing arts. Worked at TV Globo for 8 years. On television, he wrote series, sitcoms, sketch shows, variety programs, and specials across various genres, showcasing expertise in humor, drama, crime, and melodrama. In the theater, he wrote and directed several performances. He was part of "Cia. Alfândega 88", where he won the Shell Award in 2011, and he was the founder and director of the group "Os Inclusos e Os Sisos", working towards promoting culture and inclusion in Brazil. Diego was nominated for awards such as Questão DE Crítica, Faz Diferença, among others. He also worked as a script consultant for Rubi Filmes, under Patricia Chamon, teaches at Roteiraria and CAL, and owns a blind cat. Represented by Mari Brasil Agenciamento.
