Shelley became a published illustrator in 2015. As well as stage expertise, she has well nurtured artistic abilities. She illustrated a children's book, written by her mother, entitled "Santa's Gift.".
Shelley used to be shy and her Mom placed her in pageants to help her overcome her fear of being around people.
Shelley worked as mascot for two separate radio stations while she was a student in college.
Shelley wanted to be in the Air Force and travel as a member of the Air Force Choir. She scored in the top 2% in the nation on her ASVABs and signed up for an audition in Philadelphia, PA. One week before her audition, the recruiter's office found out she has asthma, through her medical records, and declined her acceptance in the military. Heartbroken, she then made the decision to pursue music through college.
Shelley has done modeling and participated pageants all of her young life, winning 4 National Titles.
Shelley is Catholic and considered becoming a Nun at one point in her life.
Shelley has spent some time in a recording studio and recorded a self-titled contemporary christian demo, with music that was co-written with her mother, Kathryn Sokac, an accomplished American author.
Shelley is a distant relative (cousin) of the late Grace Kelly.
