Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Tilda Swinton is weird lookin’. Shut up! Yes she is! That being said…mmmmmmmmm. Any-who, did you watch the Grinch musical from NBC? I never realized how horny that guy was until he wore homo-erotic clothes while moaning. I think it’s a giant step forward and now we can do a version of Joan of Arc where she humps the stake while they burn her on it. Progress! I’m excited to review this week’s Ring Of Honor episode, because I didn’t watch it. Get ready for your main event, starring Glom Gusbert and The Hibachi Kid himself, Naiko Namakanazakaziko!

Welcome to this review of Ring Of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor Pay Per View, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have some big matches and moments to get to, so let’s do so before we become a Planet Of Apes. Caesar, want salad! Alright, it’s Roh time.
Match #1: Jeff Cobb defeated Brody King
My Opinion: 3.4 out of 5 – This was a real hard-hitting match that came across like a volcano fighting Larry The Cable Guy in a demolition derby. I bet every butcher shop in the world would hire these guys if they could. Beat meat! Ideally, there would have been more finesse to this, but they gave the people the kind of match that would be exciting, which is “Watch out for boulder, Indy! It crush you!” This was a great way to kick off the card.

Welcome to this review of Ring Of Honor’s Honor For All, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a bunch of big matches to get to. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get right to it.
Match #1: The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas) defeated Coast 2 Coast (Lsg and Shaheem Ali) and Okumura and Felino The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Felino hit a sunset flip powerbomb on Ali but The Bouncers broke up the pin. Felino went for a crossbody off the top rope to the floor, but The Bouncers caught him and Milonas slammed him. Coast 2 Coast gained the upper hand for a stretch, but The Bouncers rallied and hit Closing Time on Ali for the win. After the match, The Bouncers did the Toast of Honor with Okumura and Felino.

Welcome to this review of Ring Of Honor’s Summer Supercard, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big card with huge expectations, like a tornado in a trailer park. That last comment means nothing, but makes me feel like I know what I’m talking about. I hope this thing turned out well (I already know if it did or not).
Match #1: Villain Enterprises (Pco and Brody King) defeated The Kingdom (Tko O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
It was all Pco and King early, but The Kingdom survived the onslaught and took control by isolating Pco. Eventually Pco tagged in King, who ran wild on both Kingdom members. King hit the Gonzo Bomb on O’Ryan, and Pco followed with a moonsault off the top rope for the victory.

Welcome to this review of Ring Of Honor: Mass Hysteria, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the second card of the weekend from Roh. Manhattan Mayhem was quite good, so my hope is that Mass Hysteria is just as good, if not better. Okay, let’s see if this all came together or not.
Match #1: The Briscoes defeated The Bouncers – Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Title Match
My Opinion: 1.5 out of 5 – The Briscoes did fine here, but this just wasn’t much of a match. Going around ten minutes, this felt like a bowling ball landing on your foot and only hurting half as much as you thought it would. The Bouncers leave a lot to be desired, but they do have ability, so seeing them falter is unfortunate. I bet if this had happened in a bar this would have been a fun one,...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big six-man tag team match for our main event, so don’t touch that $#@!&%? dial.
Match #1: Roh World Television Champion Shane Taylor defeated Rhett Titus – Proving Ground Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
If Titus defeats Taylor or lasts the 15-minute time limit, he will receive a future shot at Taylor’s title. Titus’ unorthodox behavior frustrated Taylor in the early going, but Taylor soon began to brutalize him. Titus rallied, and he had Taylor reeling after nailing him with three successive running kicks in the corner. Titus hit a Samoan Drop for a two count. Taylor shook it off and hit a knee to the face and a devastating headbutt for the win.

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a big Roh World Title Match. Also, have you ever seen that movie “Stay”, directed by Marc Forster? Match #1: The Kingdom (Tk O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) defeated The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas) The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Bruiser hit a cannonball off the apron that took out both Kingdom members. Later, The Kingdom isolated Bruiser. Marseglia planted Bruiser with a tornado Ddt for a near fall. Bruiser answered with a double reverse sidewalk slam on Marseglia and O’Ryan. Milonas went for a superplex on O’Ryan, but...

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a wild match or two from a league that is having a hard time making this year into a success. Let’s see if this show comes together all right.
Match #1: Pco defeated Jay Briscoe by disqualification The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Not surprisingly, the fight spilled to the floor, where Briscoe backdropped Pco onto the edge of the apron. Back inside the ring, Pco hit Kryptonite Krunch for a near fall, and a cannonball off the top rope for another near fall. Pco connected on a cannonball through the ropes to the outside. Briscoe halted Pco’s momentum by dropping him ribs-first on the guardrail. Briscoe then sat Pco in a chair outside the ring and delivered a running crossbody. Later, Pco set up for a moonsault,...

The Kingdom hit House of 1,000 Horses on Connors, but Lsg pump-kicked O’Ryan before he could make the cover. Ali tried to steal the pin, but Beer City Bruiser broke it up. Shortly thereafter, The Bouncers hit Closing Time on Coughlin for the victory.

Match #1: Villain Enterprises defeated Jay Lethal, Jeff Cobb and Rush – Roh World Six-Man Tag Team Title Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Several minutes into the match, Cobb began tossing all three of his opponents around. He hit a standing moonsault on Scurll, but King made the save. Cobb came back with a double pumphandle slam on Scurll and King. Later, King hit a flip dive over the top rope onto Cobb, Lethal and Rush on the floor. That was followed buy Scurll back-body-dropping Pco over the top onto them.

Match #1: — Pj Black defeated Eli Isom (w/Cheeseburger and Ryan Nova) The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Black took control of the fast-paced match by targeting Isom’s upper body. Isom came back with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Isom went for a springboard move, but he slipped off the top rope and landed hard in the ring. Black hit a super hurricanrana followed by a springboard 450 for a near fall. Black finished off Isom with a moonsault into a double stomp.

Match #1: Rush defeated Mark Haskins The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Rush wasted no time taking the fight outside the ring and tossing LifeBlood’s Haskins into the guardrail. Haskins came back with a suicide dive and double stomp off the top rope. Rush answered with a snap German suplex and cutter. Haskins hit Made in England for a near fall. Both men were down after connecting on simultaneous kicks to the head. Match #1: “The Villain” Marty Scurll defeated Kenny King The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Taking a page from Scurll’s playbook, King made his entrance with a “Villain” cosplayer in an attempt to get into his head. It didn’t work. Early in the match, Scurll took out the faux “Villain” with a swift kick to the head. King halted Scurll’s momentum with a Blockbuster for a near fall and a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Scurll assisted Pco on a French Canadian Cannonball over the top rope onto The Kingdom on the floor. Back inside the ring, Scurll hit a superplex on Marseglia, and Pco followed with a frog splash for a near fall. The Kingdom eventually got back on track. Rayne and Baker demanded this match after they were attacked by Twizted Sisterz at Survival of the Fittest last month. The popular duo went on the offensive right from the opening bell, but Twizted Sisterz gained the advantage after isolating Rayne. Rayne eventually tagged in Baker, who hit a flurry of offense before Twizted Sisterz began double-teaming her. They landed a backbreaker, lung-blower and flat-liner in succession, followed by an assisted backflip that likely would’ve ended the match had Rayne not made the save at the last second. Match #1: Flip Gordon versus Silas Young – I Quit Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
Before the opening bell, Gordon — who will face Bully Ray in an I Quit Match at Final Battle on Dec. 14 — challenged Young to make it an I Quit Match. Young responded with a cheap shot to Gordon’s throat and then accepted the stipulation. Young stayed on the attack early, but Gordon rallied with a flurry of offense, including a springboard spear and a suicide dive. A fired-up Gordon then whipped Young into the guardrail, suplexed him on the floor and hit a moonsault off the top rope onto Young on the outside.

Welcome to this week’s Ring of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the return of a big star that has been away for a little while. Matt Damon! Matt Damon! Matt Damon!
Match #1: Jeff Cobb beat Shane Taylor
My Take: 3 out of 5 – This was like watching two bulldozers ram into each other for over ten minutes… and that’s a compliment. I like-a da smash-smash! Cobb is wrestling machine who can pack a wallop into any-thing launches at his opponent. Taylor is not too far behind, but his weight is still holding back from doing all that he is capable of. How-ever, Taylor was able to show much more than he has in his last few matches and did some incredible slams that felt like they were coming out of nowhere. Make no mistake about my opinion of Shane Taylor, which...

Welcome to week two of the Nerdly Wrestling Awards, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a very competitive week of wrestling to get to, with one league getting a card in as an early exception to the rule. Let’s get right to the best of wrestling, from last week.
Worst Promo:
1. The Smoke Show (Impact)
2. N/A (Ring Of Honor)
3. The Wedding Of Johnny Mundo And Taya (Lucha Underground)
4. N/A (Aaa)
5. The Resurrection Of Joey Ryan (All In)
6. N/A (Major League Wrestling)
7. The IIconics Challenge Naomi (WWE)
Winner: The Wedding Of Johnny Mundo And Taya (Lucha Underground)
This was pretty lousy television no matter how you look at it. Lucha Undeground went a little too close to Vince McMahon’s bread and butter here, complete with the bad comedy that Vince likes.

Welcome to this week’s Ring of Honor television review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have three big matches to cover, so let’s keep on dancing… all, all, all, all night long… damn it.
Match #1: Christopher Daniels beat Jay Briscoe (disqualification)
This was a fine match that reunited these old rivals long after they’ve both been the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion. It’s amazing to think about how much these two guys have changed and yet remain the same. Daniels has had numerous nick-names while Briscoe has altered his hair-cut so many times that I think his barber has probably died of exhaustion. Okay, those are terrible examples of change, but I’m running out of ideas. Should I just do Thunderdome jokes? Two men enter, one man leave! Dyin’ time’s here! He has the mind of a child!

Welcome to this week’s Ring of Honor television review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a lots of great action, with Martha Stewart destroying Cybil Shephard’s career and Edward Norton lamenting not having Bruce Willis’s bank account, as well a special message from Christopher Walken! Let’s jump into the Ring of Honor!
Match #1: Kushida beat Johnathan Gresham
This was as exciting an opening match as you’ll get in this day and age. These two were like watching a mirror clash with itself, as these two have an offensive strategy that is nearly identical. The wrestling here was very well paced and a stark contrast from a lot of what Ring of Honor usually books. The big surprise here is that a tremendous amount of the match is on the mat, with numerous holds flowing into great locks that helped set the right tone.

Welcome to this review of Ring of Honor’s Best in the World 2018 pay per view! I’m Nathan Favel and I say we don’t waste any time with pleasantries. Here comes the action!
Match #1: The Kingdom beat Los Ingornerbales de Japon – Ring of Honor Six-Man Titles Match
This was a solid opener with lots of action. Both teams looked good here, with Taven functioning very well as the leader of his team. Taven really has come a long way since he first arrived in Ring of Honor. Lidj is consistently entertaining and did not break that streak here. Taven got the pin off of Bushi for the win and the title retention.
Match #2: Flip Gordon versus Bully Ray
Ray disqualified himself after losing several attempts at finishing Gordon, who was ahouse of fire tonight. Several people, such as Eli Isom, Cheeseburger and Colt Cabana, who was on announcing duties tonight,...
