Cristina Nava(II)

Cristina Nava is the Executive Producer at Day 4 Night, an independent game development studio formed by industry veterans. Formerly a producer and narrative designer at Ubisoft Milan, she is known for the Mario + Rabbids series, the tactical adventure video game IP developed by Ubisoft in partnership with Nintendo. Notable games she worked on comprise: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope (2022), Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (2017), Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Donkey Kong Adventure (2018) and Ghost Recon: Wildlands (2017). Once a writer, Cristina landed on the video games industry from the not so distant galaxy of comics, movies and TV. An author for weekly popular Italian comics magazines such as Lanciostory and Skorpio, she had been developing new IPs - story-lines, characters and stories - for RAI (the Italian public broadcasting company) and The Walt Disney Company Italy when her path crossed with Ubisoft. She joined Ubisoft Milan in 2008 as a scriptwriter and then she turned to "the dark side of game development", holding the role of associate producer and then producer. Cristina collaborated on titles in both the Rabbids and Just Dance franchises, as well as on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. Her released games include Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (main game released on October 2022), and its DLCs Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Tower of Doooom! (2023); Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope: The Last Spark Hunter (2023); and Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show (2023). Latest released game is Star Wars: Outlaws (2024). Besides her producer's role, Cristina is a spokesperson on video games industry topics and the winner of the "Outstanding Individual Contribution" prize at the Italian Video Game Awards 2023.
