Zoe Sigalou

Zoe Sigalou was born in Athens, Greece. She studied Translation & Interpretation at the Ionian University and Dramatic and Performing Arts at Arhi Drama School. In 2023 she starred in the short film "Mothers and Daughters" co-directed by Elke Lehrenkrauss & Youla Boudali and in the short film "Home" by Sofia Sfyri. In 2022 she was selected as an acting talents for the Talents Sarajevo section of Berlinale Talents and she attended the National Film & Television Schhol x Oxbelly Intensive "Acting for the Camera". The past few years she has appeared in television series like 'Our Best Years" and she has starred in various short films. She has collaborated with Syllas Tzoumerkas, Christos Passalis, Youla Boudali and others and in 2024 she is set to film her short film "The Beast Who Walks Like A Man, directed by Nikos Kolioukos. In theatre she had the chance to present her work "Perseids or How to Party hard" during the FUTURE NOW 2023 theatre festival by the Onassis Foundation and to work with notable theatre makers like Youla Boudali. Moreover her play Chromosome W: An Alphabet for Womankind was selected and performed during Voila Theatre Festival at The Cockpit theatre in London. She also stared at "Call Me Sugar" directed by Michalis Pitidis and Christina Kipreou by Onasis Foundation during Future Now Festival 2023 and "Until the Summer" by the same directing duo.
