Shannon Service is the producer/director of the Emmy nominated film Ghost Fleet. The documentary follows Thai abolitionist Patima Tungpuchyakul as she scours remote islands to rescue men who jumped ship to escape slavery at sea.
The film premiered at Telluride and Toronto before landing on AppleTV, Amazon and Delta. The VR project premiered at Sundance.
Shannon is also an Edward R Murrow winning investigative reporter and has filed for The New York Times, NPR and Time Magazine.
