Anthony Tran(IX)

Growing up in Canada's largest thriving city Toronto, Ontario. Anthony Tran first began his journey into film by volunteering at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival which solidified his love and passion for cinema. Coming from the culinary world with no firm grasp in film production, he began learning his way around by working various positions starting out as a production assistant, set dresser, boom operator, assistant director and even as a background extra. He continued establishing his relationship with Toronto's Film Industry working under many skilled professionals and talented students. His first grand project was "Dear Beirut" a community theater play which he performed in and helped produce. Following that he created his first short "Siance Fiction" which premiered at the 2018 KINO TO Showcase event. In 2019 he founded Banana Bridge Studios which ended up producing their first music video "A Wind of Change" that won the March KINO TO Short Film Challenge. With every passing future project, he hopes to one day unlock the ability to share all his deepest stories and live out his dreams as a professional filmmaker.
