Karolína Lea was born into an artistic family. She inherited her genes from her grandfather and grandmother on her mother's side - the great Slovak actor Julius Vasek and the SND ballet soloist Gabriele Vasekova. In her childhood, she was mostly devoted to dance, starting at the Prague ballet school Pirueta , then moving to the Fantasy Dance Studio of Annie Novacek under the direction of Bee Endysová and subsequently dancing in the Vivid dance company under the choreographic direction of Dominika Dee Cervinkova.
Since 2017, she has been engaged in musical theater, first in the role of Ratcatcher's Soul in Mirjam Landa's musical "Ratcatcher" in the Kalich Theater in Prague, since 2018 in the Jiri Myron Theater in Ostrava in roles of Jemima and Jelly in A.L. Webber's musical "Cats" and finally in " Billy Elliot" by Elton John at the DJKT theater in Pilsen and now is she rehearsing a unique theater project, which is an unexpected statement of the young acting generation...
In 2016, she appeared in front of the camera for the first time in the series of the German production ARD Charité in the role of Klara Spinoli. This was followed by playing Young Erin in episode Demon in the dark the series Haunted for the Netflix, Wifina for Czech TV or Blue code. In 2020, she enjoyed filming the series Osada by Radek Bajgar and Petr Kolecko, and in 2022 she filmed the movie White Bird: A Wonder Story by the American production company Lionsgate with Gillian Anderson and Helen Mirren, the second season of the series Osada and Czech historical movie Brothers from Tomas Masin with Jan Nedbal, Oskar Hess and Tatiana Dykova which will have premier in October 2023..
