Paolo Nutini and Snow Patrol are among a number of artists who have recorded tracks for a John Martyn tribute album. Folk singer-songwriter Martyn died in 2009 at the age of 60. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Martyn recorded 20 studio albums, including Solid Air and Grace and Danger. Beck, Bombay Bicycle Club, Phil Collins, David Gray and The Cure's Robert Smith have also signed up for the album, titled Johnny Boy Would Love This.
