ITV has announced that Marple will return in a new series of three films. Julia McKenzie will reprise the title role in adaptations of Agatha Christie's 'A Caribbean Mystery', 'Endless Night' and 'The Seven Dials Mystery'. The first film will begin filming in summer 2012, while the latter two will enter production in the autumn. "It's a huge privilege for me to play Miss Marple," said McKenzie.
