It was recently revealed that director Paul Davis and writer James Moran were teaming up for Silent Night of the Living Dead, which tells “the story of a group of locals who hole up in a West Sussex high school on Christmas Eve and have to fend off zombies”.

Thanks to Shock Till You Drop, we have the official poster (included below) and the first casting announcements. Tom Savini and Aj Bowen have joined the cast and will be playing father and son “as two Americans who have lived in the small British town for the past 15 years”.

Other people involved in this film include Dave Elsey (The Wolfman, Star Wars Episode III) handling special effects and Osymyso (Shaun of the Dead), who will be working on the score. Filming is scheduled to start in spring 2012, so we’ll plenty of information on this project over the next couple of months.
