How will Golden Globes influence Emmys?

It wasn't enough that the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. saved "Enlightened" from cancellation by nominating it for Best Comedy Series. Now leading lady Laura Dern has emerged as an early frontrunner for an Emmy following her surprise Golden Globe win. Dern bested the frontrunner -- newcomer Zooey Deschanel ("New Girl") -- as well as previous Emmy contenders Tina Fey ("30 Rock"), Laura Linney ("The Big C") and Amy Poehler ("Parks and Recreation"). This is Dern's third Globe after previously taking it for telefilms "Recount" (2008) and "Afterburn" (1992). Dern was Emmy-nominated for both of those performances but lost both times.  Comedy Actor champ Matt LeBlanc ("Episodes") lost his Emmy bid last September to Jim Parsons ("The Big Bang Theory") who wasn't even nominated by the Globes this year, although he won this race last year.
