Actor Stanley Tucci is launching his second cookbook.
The Julie & Julia star first showed off his love of the kitchen by sharing secret family recipes in passion project Cucina & Famiglia in 1999.
And now after years of honing his skills with some of the finest chefs in the world, the actor reveals he's set to release The Tucci Family Cookbook in partnership with publisher Simon & Schuster this autumn.
During an appearance on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America on Tuesday (17Arp12), he said, "I love to cook. We had a cookbook that came out about a decade ago and it's actually being revised now and will be out in October. With a whole new look and some new recipes and stuff."
The tome, which will feature a foreword by restaurant entrepreneur and longtime pal Mario Batali, will hit U.S. stores on 23 October and contain Italian meal ideas and wine pairings.
Tucci has always had strong ties to the food industry - he currently serves as a board member on the Food Bank for New York City, which helps fight hunger, and he fronted 2011 wine show Vine Talk.
