'Dreams of a Life', an Irish co-production from Manchester director Carol Morley, will be released in the Us next month after securing a distribution deal with Strand Releasing. The documentary's reconstructed scenes were shot at Hannay Studios in north Dublin with English actress Zawe Ashton (St. Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold) starring. Post-production was done at Dublin post house Egg with all of the grading, finishing and digital cinema print carried out by Sebastian Guest and Edel McDonnell. Other Irish crew who worked on the shoot included costume designer Leonie Pendergast; art director Emma Lowney; third assistant director Mike Hays and sound recordist Robert Flanagan. 'Dreams of a Life' was co-produced by Irish producer James Mitchell's (Ordinary Decent Criminal) Soho Moon Pictures alongside Britain's Cannon and Morley Productions.
