'Wonder Woman' Television Series In Development With 'Ally McBeal' Creator Attached

Those of you waiting for a live-action "Wonder Woman" movie might need to wait a little bit longer — but that's not to say that the Amazon warrior isn't receiving a live-action treatment of a different kind.

Deadline reports that DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television are collaborating on an all new "Wonder Woman" television series. "The Practice" and "Ally McBeal" creator David E. Kelley is attached to write and produce the series, and is said to be "interested in tackling a contemporary take on the World War II-era Amazon."

At this point, it's currently unclear whether or not this latest "Wonder Woman" television adaptation will remain faithful to some of the character's most iconic attributes, including her costume, indestructible bracelets, her Lasso of Truth and the invisible airplane.
