In select theaters on April 26th, Arthur Newman could be 2013′s little film that could, and it may just become an audience favorite. Starring Colin Firth and Emily Blunt, two of today’s best, the film centers around a golfer who wakes up unhappy with where is life is. Divorced, and with a golf career that isn’t going well, he decides to take on a new identity, and meets Mike (Blunt). The pair go on something of an “identity spree,” and fall for each other.
Written by Academy Award® nominee Becky Johnston (Seven Years in Tibet, Prince of Tides), this one looks like a winner, and (credit where due) has one of the better trailers I’ve seen in a while.
