Michael Kerr's Napa based on novel Three to Get Ready, lands Rose McGowan in lead Rose McGowan is set to star in the romantic thriller which marks the directorial debut of producer Michael Kerr, who is also financing the project, reports Variety. Hans Ostrom co-writes the script, based on his novel "Three to Get Ready," which follows Scarlett Harding (McGowan), a woman who lands a job as a Sheriff in her Napa hometown after coming home from three military tours in Afghanistan. Nellie Nugiel (TV's Greek, Me and Veronica, Lackawanna Blues) producer will produce alongside Kerr. McGowan recently completed work on the TV movie The Pastor's Wife, playing the character of Mary Winkler, a real-life preacher's wife who offed her husband back in 2006. Norma Bailey directs, based on the book by Diane Fanning.
