Crawlspace
Michael Vartan ("Alias," "Bates Motel") has scored the male lead in Phil Claydon's "Crawlspace" at New Line. Filming begins March 24th in Los Angeles.
Vartan will play a widower with a daughter who gets remarried and the opportunity for a new start in a new house in the suburbs. Trouble is the house has a very disturbing secret from the past that rears up. [Source: Deadline]
American Sniper
Jake McDorman ("Greek," "Shameless") and Sammy Sheik ("Lone Survivor") in talks to join Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller and Cory Hardrict in Clint Eastwood's "American Sniper" at Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow. Filming begins next month in Morocco.
Several real-life Navy SEALs are expected to co-star in the movie in which Cooper plays decorated marksman Chris Kyle, a man credited with the most sniper kills in U.S. military history. McDorman will play Kyle's comrade Ryan 'Biggles' Job who is the film's comic relief.
