Chinese New Year is just around the corner (well, Mid-February actually) and that means Hong Kong Cinema is prepping its annual onslaught of ridiculous, crowd-pleasing comedies that will be (hopefully) packing them in during the festival period.Director Matt Chow and producer/star Sandra Ng (Golden Chicken$$$) have just released the first teaser for their new film, 12 Golden Ducks, and it pitches the film as a camp, raunchy and frankly rather ridiculous affair focusing squarely on the comedic chops of its female (or at least she used to be) star!Putting an intriguing spin on her hugely successful Golden Chicken series, 12 Golden Ducks follows the highs and lows of a group of strutting male gigalos as they struggle to survive the economic downturn.
