The Strangers 2 Gets Director and Plot Synopsis, to Shoot This Spring

The home invasion movie "The Strangers," starring Liv Tyler, hit theaters in 2008 and became a hit by grossing $82 million worldwide on a $9 million budget. Work on a sequel started immediately, but nothing ever happened. Now comes word that "The Strangers 2" is finally moving forward with Marcel Langenegger (Deception) in talks to direct from a script by Ben Ketai ("Chosen"). The plan is to begin shooting this spring. The sequel follows a family on the verge of sending their troubled teenage daughter to boarding school as they embark on one last family trip to a mobile home park that their uncle runs.
