Leslie Nielsen Died of Complications From Pneumonia

Comedian Leslie Nielsen has passed away at the age of 84. The actor who was famous for his comedy films, "Airplane!" and "The Naked Gun", died of complications from pneumonia at a hospital near his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at 5:34 P.M. Et on Sunday, November 28. John S. Kelly, an agent for the Canadian actor, confirmed the sad news through a statement.

"We are saddened by the passing of beloved actor Leslie Nielsen, probably best remembered as Lt. Frank Drebin in 'The Naked Gun' series of pictures, but who enjoyed a more than 60-year career in motion pictures and television," said John. He added that the actor was surrounded by wife Barbaree and friends at time of passing.
