Jekyll and Hyde is coming to Sunday evenings on ITV later this month

Sunday evenings are sorted for the next few months as ITV's Jekyll and Hyde are taking over.

The 10-part drama stars Da Vinci's Demons actor Tom Bateman in the lead role.

Bateman will be playing the dual role of evil Hyde and his mild-mannered alter ego Jekyll in the paranormal drama.

The series is set in 1930s London, and will focus on the grandson of the doctor featured in the famous Robert Louis Stevenson story.

Joining him will be Richard E Grant and former Coronation Street actress Natalie Gumede, along with Stephanie Hyam (Murdered By My Boyfriend), Donald Sumpter (Game of Thrones), Amit Shah (Hustle) and Phil McKee (Ripper Street).

Lead writer Charlie Higson billed the show as a "superhero story" with a "sexy" Mr Hyde earlier this year, and has big plans for the series.
