Sony Details Next PlayStation 4 Firmware Update, Includes PS4 To PC Remote Play

In accordance with earlier reports, Sony is poised to host a beta program for the PlayStation 4‘s latest firmware update beginning tomorrow, March 2.

Entitled version 3.50 and codenamed Musashi, the most notable feature included in firmware 3.50 is PS4 to PC Remote Play, though as Sony points out over on PlayStation Blog, said feature “won’t be available to test in the beta.” It’s a functionality similar to that found on Xbox One with Windows 10, allowing users to stream PS4 gameplay to home computers.

Beyond tomorrow’s beta program, no details were disclosed about a firm release date for firmware 3.50, but when it does begin rolling out to the public, it’ll also including the following features.
