Hands of Stone Trailer Brings Robert de Niro Back to the Boxing Ring

While the sport of boxing may not be as popular as mixed martial arts (Mma) these days, boxing movies are still quite popular. Sylvester Stallone teamed up with Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler to breathe new life into the Rocky franchise with last year's critical and box office hit Creed, and this year fans will be treated to a biopic of one of the sport's all-time greats, Roberto Duran. Today we have the first trailer for The Weinstein Company's Hands of Stone, which brings this boxer's epic journey to life.

Hands of Stone follows the life of Roberto Duran (Edgar Ramirez), the Panamanian fighter who made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16 year&#8208old and retired in 2002 at the age of 50. In June 1980, he defeated Sugar Ray Leonard (Usher Raymond) to capture the Wbc welterweight title, but shocked the boxing world by returning to his corner in their November rematch,
