Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, Level-5’s gorgeous RPG sequel, will launch for both PS4 and PC in 2017.
News of a PC version was made official earlier this morning, though publisher Bandai Namco refrained from divulging the game’s release date. When asked about the decision to bring Ni No Kuni II to PC platforms, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino revealed to GameSpot that “having a PC version means the game is more accessible for everyone overseas.”
Following the landmark success of Wrath of the White Witch four years ago, Level-5 has doubled down on its commitment to expand the Ni No Kuni brand across international markets. Plans are in place for Revenant Kingdom to launch simultaneously for Japanese and western audiences later this year, with Hino-san going on to reveal that, “from a localization point of view we’re really making it as straightforward as possible for players of all cultures to understand.
